Recent Iowa basketball visitor chooses fellow Big Ten program instead A recent transfer portal visitor to Iowa basketball opted for another Big Ten destination. Former Drake and DePaul guard Conor Enright announced his commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday, reuniting Enright with his former head coach at Drake in new Indiana head coach Darian DeVries. Enright registered career-highs in points (7.5), assists (6.2) and rebounds (3.3) per game this past season at DePaul, though his shooting percentages dipped to 39.5% from the field and 32.5% from 3-point distance. The 6-foot-2, 180 pound point guard redshirted his first season in college before playing in 68 games and starting 37 over the next two seasons at Drake. Enright was a Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman Team selection in 2022-23. Then, Enright averaged 6.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 45.3% and 43.9% from 3-point range during the 2023-24 campaign. Originally from Mundelein High School in Illinois, Enright is ranked as a four-star transfer portal target, as the No. 126 player nationally and as the No. 19 point guard per 247Sports' transfer portal rankings.
