Town of Chandler awarded Conservation Partner of the Year
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- The Town of Chandler receives an award as the 'Conservation Partner of the Year' by the Warrick County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Indiana DNR unveils new 'Turn in a Poacher' trailer
Chandler won the award for the town's efforts to transform a 10-acre field into a nature area with native trees, flowers, observation spots, and walking trails. The town was also commended for its collaboration with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to develop a 29 acre wetland preservation.
