At first glance, it looks like your standard stick vac, but it's got a fun little feature called Odor Neutralizer Technology to keep things smelling good. A brand as sought-after as Shark doesn't need to go on sale often, which is why I did a double-take when I saw this 50% markdown. According to my price trackers, this is as low as this vacuum's ever been aside from Black Friday, when it was just 10 bucks less. FYI, several reviewers say it's "better than our Dyson," and those vacs typically cost way more than $200.
Have you ever been in the middle of vacuuming and you suddenly smell something unpleasant coming from the direction of the machine? This can be caused by several things, the most common being that the vacuum's collection bin is stuffed with dust, dirt, hair and all sorts of icky debris. The aforementioned Odor Neutralizer Technology works to protect against foul odors by way of clean-smelling cartridges, two of which come with the vacuum. This Shark's Clean Sense IQ, which allows it to sense when it comes across a spot with more debris so it can amp up the cleaning power.
An LED display lets you know how much battery is left — it can run for up to 40 minutes per charge — as well as which suction level it's on. Need to reach surfaces like furniture and steps? The top portion pops out so you can use it as a handheld, and it comes with crevice and pet tool attachments. Speaking of pets, the brush roll is self-cleaning to avoid tangled messes and has "PowerFins" to grab gunk lodged deep into carpets. All that in an appliance that weighs just over 8 pounds? Good things really do come in small packages.
