ROY KEANE joked that former Manchester United team-mate David Beckham "forgot" to invite him to his star-studded 50th birthday party at the weekend - while Gary Neville admitted he "wasn't the best" the following day. Beckham turned 50 last Friday and marked the occasion with a dinner party in central London. 5 5 The England legend's family and closest friends were all in attendance at the three Michelin star restaurant Core on Saturday. Eva Longoria, Tom Cruise and Gordon Ramsay were among those on the guest list. Neville also enjoyed the occasion - and was pictured outside the restaraunt after the party. The former United defender was asked about the party by Jill Scott in the latest episode of the Stick to Football podcast, brought to you by SkyBet. The United icon went on to say: "It was before Sunday's game, I wasn't the best on Sunday," before revealing that he left at 3:30am. Just hours later he then appeared at Stamford Bridge to cover Chelsea's Premier League meeting with Liverpool. Neville was reportedly the only ex-Man Utd player to have been invited to the party. It prompted Keane to joke: "Did he forget about all his other team-mates? Were we not good enough? Know what I mean..." 5 Instantly, Neville responded: "It is because you didn't invite us to your 50th." But the former Ireland international replied: "You know my 50th, it was at the Pizza Express in Altrincham." As David marked his birthday in style with multiple events, the family's eldest son Brooklyn has opted out of all of the celebrations – but singer Jackie has stayed firmly at Cruz's side for all of them. 11 11 In a selection of photographs taken at the intimate family dinner held at the Beckhams' Cotswolds mansion on Friday, Jackie seemed to send a message with her Instagram caption. Sharing pictures that include her joking around with Cruz, posing in their sprawling garden, and enjoying the dinner in a red VB dress, Jackie seemed at home amid the family dynamic. She wrote alongside the snaps: 'i wish you could feel how much love was in the room these days through the phone ❤️🎂' Jackie later joined Cruz at the rowdy London party held at Core Restaurant on Saturday night, with revellers dancing until police shut them off at 3.35am on Sunday morning. She was seen arriving with Cruz, who later performed a special rendition of his parents' favourite song, Islands In The Stream. David and members of the family have since posted photos from the special night, making note of all their family and loved ones who made it to the event. But Brooklyn's absence was clearly felt throughout all the celebrations, with David sharing some of the more notable moments his son missed out on. He suggested going for breakfast or a coffee but was told the only chance to see the family would be at one of their lavish parties which Kim would be at - so he refused. And Becks took to social media to share new snaps of the night, which is said to have ended at 3.30am after noise complaints. He joked in the caption: "OK OK I promise this was the last party," mocking his efforts to prolong his special day. Among the new snaps was a look at Cruz performing Island in the Stream. Victoria had confessed the tune was personal to the her and David in her own loving social media post on his birthday. The former England footballer documented a fishing and camping holiday with his two younger sons, revealing that the trip had been in the works for several months. The visit, which included preparing freshly caught scallops, blue lobster, and crab, appeared to focus on simplicity, family time, and the outdoors. "Six months ago planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th,' Beckham wrote in one caption. 'Was so much fun.' David revealed he took boys Cruz and Romeo on a fishing trip ahead of his birthday, and on Thursday the family held an intimate dinner at their Cotswolds mansion. After that, the family had a flying visit to Bordeaux for an afternoon at a vineyard, and were later seen emerging from their posh hotel, after splashing the cash at one of their favourite hotel's in the city, La Réserve. They then headed back to the UK for the big bash in Kensington – where they partied until police shut it down. An onlooker said: 'David's party really went off and the longer time went on, the louder the music seemed to get. 'Some neighbours weren't very happy when it was still so loud at 2am and leaned out windows to see where the racket was from.' Kensington and Chelsea Council said advice was given to minimise disruption.
