Gallery: St Mary's celebrate Corn Herald victory in Cumann na mBunscol finals at Croke Park
to claim their ninth success in the prestigious competition.
The Herald Cup was first presented in 1938 for premier division schools hurling in Dublin.
This year, three Dublin hurlers, Brendan Kenny, Conal Ó Riain and Diarmaid Ó Dúlaing - all former Cumann na mBunscol players - were present in Croke Park at the finals, to present Corn Herald to St Mary's captain Charlie Fox, who was playing in his third premier decider.
St Mary's are managed by teacher Don O'Neill who hails from Tipperary, with the Ballyboden clubman also a valuable member of Niall Ó Ceallacháin's Dublin senior hurler backroom team.
