Spectating ain't cheap: Pro golfer comments on beer, wine prices at PGA Tour event
Spectating ain't cheap: Pro golfer comments on beer, wine prices at PGA Tour event PALM BEACH, Fla. ― It "ain't cheap" to enjoy an alcoholic beverage this week at the Cognizant Classic of the Palm Beaches at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens. Just ask 13-time PGA Tour winner Mark Calcavecchia. Calcavecchia, who lives in Jupiter and is a longtime Palm Beach County resident, took to X on Thursday to lament the exorbitant prices for a glass of beer or wine in the viewing gallery. "This spectating s*** ain't cheap," Calcavecchia tweeted with an image of a drink menu at PGA National. Listed prices included $13 for a Corona Light, Premier, Extra and Modelo Especial. Chardonnay and pinot noir by the glass as well as sparkling wine cost $12.45 according to Calcavecchia's picture. Calcavecchia, who won the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens in 1987, currently competes on the PGA Tour Champions. He underwent back surgery in January 2021 and worked to return to competitive form later that year. He missed the cut or withdrew from his five most recent appearances at senior major championship tournaments.

As Trump shakes up global politics, Mexico could be most affected
MEXICO CITY — Every minute, about $1.5 million in goods cross the U.S.-Mexico border. Trucks loaded with strawberries, Corona Light and washing machines chug north from Mexico. Going south are U.S. corn and spark plugs, nuclear reactors and Pop-Tarts. The neighbors' economies have never been more intertwined. As President Donald Trump rolls out his 'America First' policies, few countries have more to lose than Mexico. About 80 percent of its exports go to its neighbor. Mexicans make up the biggest group of immigrants living illegally in the United States, making them a prime target of the new 'mass deportation' program. And Trump is so incensed by the smuggling of fentanyl from Mexico that he has floated the idea of a military operation.
