Coronation Street 'confirms' new romance for unexpected duo

A potential new romance is starting to develop in Coronation Street. Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) has been in hospital ever since she took LSD at a party last week. The evening was hosted at the Alahan household, but it descended into disaster due to Lauren, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) all taking hallucinogenic drugs. Lauren consumed the drug and stumbled into the ginnel. There, a man asked if she was okay, but in her delirious state, Lauren believed the man to be Joel Deering (Calum Lill) and completely panicked. As her hallucinations got stronger, Lauren stumbled into the factory, where she believed that Joel had taken Frankie. Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) found her, and has continued to support Lauren in the aftermath. This was picked up on by Lauren's mate Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) a couple of days ago. She said she had no idea Lauren was so close to Aadi, and it was clear that Lauren hadn't really thought about this, as it just felt quite natural. More Trending In tonight's episode, Aadi remained consumed with guilt following the disastrous party. He attempted to tell Lauren the truth about the drugs, but he bottled it when she was nice to him, and said he shouldn't blame himself. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? TV star in 'incredibly painful' split from boyfriend months after giving birth

Former Hollyoaks and Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has split from her boyfriend just months after giving birth, the actress has revealed. Stephanie, who played Sinead O'Connor in Hollyoaks and Courtney Vance in Corrie, began dating Joseph McKalroy in 2022, after the pair met during a 'low point' in both their lives, she previously revealed. Earlier this year, they welcomed son Samuel – Stephanie's second child. She is also mother to six-year-old son Caben, who she shares with Celebrity Big Brother co-star Jeremy McConnell. The actress took to Instagram to 'address the rumours' surrounding her relationship with Joe, confirming that things had come to an end between them. 'Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing this. I've been left with no choice but to address the rumours,' she began her statement. 'This has come as a complete shock and has been an incredibly painful and unexpected time. Just four months after having a baby-one of the most vulnerable and emotional times in a woman's life-I've found myself facing this chapter on my own. 'After everything I've been through in the past, I truly believed I'd finally found my happiness-something secure and lasting. But that, heartbreakingly, hasn't been the case. 'I'm greatful for the years we had because without us I wouldn't have my Samuel. Who will always be my priority. More Trending 'Right now, I'm focusing on healing. protecting my peace, and doing the best I can-being there for my two beautiful boys. Thank you to those who've reached out-your kindness has meant more than I can say,' she finished, signing off with her name. The statement comes after Stephanie's followers began questioning why the actress hadn't dedicated a Father's Day post to Joe earlier this month, speculating that they had split. Stephanie's most recent soap role saw her head to the cobbles of Coronation Street in 2023, playing Aadi Alahan's (Adam Hussain) lover Courtney.
