Coroner's office dispatched to crash in McAdoo
A deputy with the Schuylkill County Coroner's office has been dispatched to a vehicle accident in McAdoo. A dispatcher with the Schuylkill County Communications Center confirmed there was an accident in the area of 1000 Mile Hill Road resulting in a fatality. Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan III said the the coroner's office was dispatched shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday for a multivehicle crash in Kline Twp. A post mortem CT scan will be done at the Schuylkill County Forensic Center on Sunday or Monday. State Police at Frackville are investigating the incident. No additional information was immediately available. This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.

One dead in Anderson shooting
ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – One person has died following a shooting in Anderson. The Anderson County Coroner's Office confirmed it has responded after a male victim died at AnMed after he was shot on Caughlin Avenue late Friday evening. Details on the shooting are not yet available as the investigation is still in its early stages. The shooting is being investigated by Anderson Police Department and the coroner's office. Friday night crash leaves one dead on scene, SC Highway Patrol says
A motorist is dead after swerving over a Colleton County road, according the South Carolina Highway Patrol. At 12:15 a.m. Saturday, a 2012 Chevy SUV was traveling north on Benton Farm Road near the intersection of Rentz Drive before running off the road to the right and then to the left, a news release said. When the car veered off to the left, it struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead on scene, according to the release. The driver, whose identity has not yet been released by the Colleton County Coroner's Office, was the only person in the car and no other injuries were reported. The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

State troopers investigating deadly hit-and-run on I-26 in Dorchester County
DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – State troopers are investigating a deadly hit-and-run collision that happened on Interstate 26. Corporal Nick Pye with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said an unknown vehicle was traveling west when it struck a pedestrian near mile marker 185 in Dorchester County just after midnight.
