Man accused of raping woman in woods may have more victims

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Yamhill County officials are asking the public for information as they believe a man facing charges for sexual assault may have other victims. According to the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, deputies initially began investigating on Wednesday after a sexual assault was reported having occurred in the Nestucca River Recreation Forest. Local volunteer accused of raping, blackmailing teen girl Officials learned the victim had been walking along a road near Willamina and accepted a ride from Cory Ryan Williams and a female passenger. According to YCSO, the victim was taken to a wooded area and sexually assaulted by Williams. Officials said the female passenger was not present during the alleged incident. The day after the reported assault, deputies said they learned Williams was hiding out in the Nestucca River Recreation Forest and 'attempting to leave the area discreetly.' He was booked into the Yamhill County Correctional Facility on charges of first-degree rape and menacing. Authorities said they also executed several search warrants as a part of the investigation into Williams.
