In the final week of the 2024 season, Cory Trice Jr. had to face numerous challenges. The second-year cornerback had to go one-on-one against Cincinnati Bengals All-Pro receiver Ja'Marr Chase, and the result was not favourable for Cory.
But the athlete isn't ready to let his performance define him. Cory Trice Jr.'s fantastic coverage abilities over the past two weeks have garnered appreciation recently.
Trice filled in for veteran CB Donte Jackson, who could not play due to a back injury, and naturally, Chase took the opportunity to take the lead and help his team. Chase recorded 10 catches for 96 yards and scored Cincinnati's only touchdown of the game.
With the Bengals and Steelers set to face off twice more in the 2025 season as division foes, Trice is sure about his own prowess.
