Person found dead on Costar Street, police launch investigation
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester Police are investigating a 'suspicious incident' after a person was found dead on Costar Street Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to a house in the 100 block just before 2 p.m. After finding the dead body, a man is his 60s — investigators confirmed the death is being investigated as a suspicious incident.
More details will be released when investigators decide to. The intersection of Costar Street and Dewey Avenue remained closed as the investigation happened.
News 8 crews arrived on scene just after 4:30 p.m. Sunday and saw caution tape set up. The Command Van and technical unit are on Costar Street as well.
