LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Feeling a baby's kick is one of the most fascinating and beautiful parts of pregnancy. In your third trimester, those kicks are important to keep track of. 'A change in a baby's movements in the third trimester are an urgent warning sign, or an early red flag, that something might be going wrong in pregnancy,' said Emily Price. 'Count the Kicks' is an app that can be downloaded on both the iTunes App Store and Google Play Store and is available in more than 20 languages. Once downloaded, users can go into it and tap the footprint icon every time they feel the baby move in their bellies. 'What we want expectant parents to do is, every day in the third trimester, have your daily kick-counting session. It's where you get to know your baby's normal movement patterns,' said Price. 'The app is going to show you a graph of what your baby's normal movement is.' 'We've now saved babies' lives in 37 states and in seven countries,' said Price. 'We know that if we could reduce Kentucky's stillbirth rate by a third, like we've done in Iowa, that's more than 100 babies' lives that can be saved every single year in Kentucky.' Price isn't just urging expectant parents to take these steps just based on data; she knows firsthand how lifesaving monitoring your baby's movements as they approach the end of pregnancy can be. Price told FOX 56 that Mother's Day is an important day to spread the message to be in tune with your body during pregnancy and to not be afraid to speak up if something seems off. Colts' Jim Irsay with parting message to Ryan Kelly after signing with Vikings

Colts' Jim Irsay with parting message to Ryan Kelly after signing with Vikings Long-time center for the Colts Ryan Kelly is signing with the Vikings, and owner Jim Irsay has a parting message. Long-time center for the Indianapolis Colts Ryan Kelly will be wearing new colors in 2025 after signing with the Minnesota Vikings, and owner Jim Irsay had a parting message for him. "It's been an honor to watch Ryan represent the Horseshoe and he will forever be a part of the Colts' family, wrote Irsay. "Ryan is the only center our franchise has ever selected in the first round of the NFL draft, and he developed into an All-Pro and Pro Bowl player over nine seasons. "As great as he was on the field, Ryan, along with his wife Emma, made just as big of an impact off the field. They've used their platform to advocate for families and bring awareness to 'Count the Kicks' and 'Concerns of Police Survivors' in addition to other community initiatives. Their courage, strength, and resilience have been an inspiration to so many. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Ryan, Emma, Mary Kate, Ford, Duke and Stella Kelly." Kelly was the 18th overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft by the Colts and has started 121 games in his career with Indianapolis. During his tenure with the Colts, Kelly has been a multi-time team captain, a four-time Pro Bowler, and an All-Pro in 2020. Kelly is joining the Vikings on a two-year, $18 million deal. In his place in Indianapolis, presumably, Tanor Bortolini will be the Colts' starting center in 2025.
