12-year-old reportedly shot while cleaning house, family says

Dayton police and medics were called to the 900 block of West Riverview Avenue around 12:20 p.m., according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor. Injuries were reported after a stabbing at Church's Chicken on Thursday afternoon. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Around 3:30 p.m., Dayton police and medics were called to the Church's Chicken on North Gettysburg Avenue for a reproted stabbing, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch supervisor. In a 911 call obtained by News Center 7, a manager at the restaurant tells dispatchers, 'The mom just stabbed a little boy multiple times in his back.' The manager said the boy had injuries to his back and hand. She tells dispatchers she doesn't think the boy stabbed was the woman's child. A fight then breaks out nearby. Officers and medics have responded to reports of a vehicle into a house Thursday morning.
