La DoubleJ and (RED) launch limited edition ‘Coupe Rose' collab capsule
Italian luxury fashion house, La DoubleJ, and (RED) – the organisation co-founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver – have teamed up to launch a new limited edition 'Coupe Rose' capsule collection, with all profits donated to (RED). Aiming to 'deliver life-saving programs to women and girls in vulnerable communities', it's available from 12 June via La DoubleJ's webstore, it includes the bestselling Better Than Your Boyfriend's Shirt and Pull-Up Shorts in fil coupé and the Mini Foulard in Italian silk. It comes with a campaign featuring 'supporters and friends of La DoubleJ', including Iman, Noma Dumezweni, Laura Brown, La DoubleJ's founder and CEO JJ Martin, Lake Bell, Busy Philipps, Anne V, Mychal Bella-Bowman, chef Hong Thaimee, Mickey Sumner, Micaela Erlanger, Peyton Dix, Marisol Thomas, Dee Poku, and Angelica Hicks. They're helping to raise awareness around the collaboration as (RED) said 'the fight against AIDS faces unprecedented challenges and the extraordinary progress to date – and the lives of many — are in jeopardy. Recent withdrawals of funding, gender inequalities, discrimination, marginalisation and gender-based violence put women and girls at an increased risk for HIV representing 44% of all new infections'. JJ Martin said: 'A project like this perfectly represents my goals at La DoubleJ which is to not only offer women 100% made in Italy product that makes them feel joyful and fabulous, but also gives them an opportunity to raise their vibration and expand their consciousness.' To date, (RED) has generated over $785 million for the Global Fund, helping more than 325 million people.
