Courrèges' Nicolas Di Felice calls on his community to shoot latest campaign
Courrèges creative director Nicolas Di Felice handed over the reins to muses within his community this season to shoot his new men's and women's Spring 2026 pre-collection, which was presented to buyers in Paris on Tuesday. Unveiled inside Espace Commines in the Marais, the spiffy yet more relaxed collection comes at a time of rapid growth for the house of Courrèges, which in the past 18 months has opened four new boutiques in Korea alone. Inspired by the Mirrors of Paris social media phenomenon, Di Felice entrusted over a dozen models and friends of the house to shoot selfies in his latest collection as they roamed around the City of Light. 'Tis a far cry, and a welcome change, from the white cube show-spaces favored by Di Felice in his dramatic must-see shows during the Paris catwalk season. For next spring, Nicolas revamps classic Courrèges ideas for today, like employing the signature belt as chokers of taut check tops, patent leather slingbacks or curvy blousons. There is plenty of drama — from bravura cutaway skirts in denim or techy stretch, to slashed airtex dresses, to body-con open-back tops paired with biker shorts. Though overall, the clothes are cut more forgivingly — as was evident in a tour of the racks — and more targeted at the 40-something fans of the label. All told, 18 muses turn their cameras on themselves – from the likes of Apolline Rocco Fohrer, Elodie Guipaud and Axel Gay to Jacqui Hooper, Stella Hanan, Nastassia Legrand and Samuel Elie. Roving around the canals, bridges, squares and cobblestone quays of the Seine, in an intriguing shoot styled by veteran though ever-fresh stylist Marie Chaix, with casting by Piergiorgio Del Moro.

Courrèges Resort 2026 is Self-Shot in Paris
Summary Courrèges, under the creative direction ofNicolas Di Felice, has unveiled itsSpring/Summer 2026Men's Collection and Women's Pre-Collection, with a distinct campaign twist. This collection is deeply influenced by the 'Mirrors of Paris' social media selfie phenomenon. Instead of traditional studio lookbooks, Courrèges embraced a more authentic approach, inviting 18 friends of the house and muses to self-shoot the collection against the backdrop of real Parisian streets and interiors. These 'mirror' selfies, captured with smartphones, offer an unfiltered, spontaneous glimpse of the garments in everyday life, reflecting a harmony of refinement and realism. The campaign images showcase the collection against tiled passageways, metal fencing, and the worn textures of the city, emphasizing movement, light, and self-direction. The collection itself features Nicolas Di Felice's signature blend of tailored athleticism, soft structure, and a fluid approach to dressing. Key elements see the use of blurring archetypal styles seamlessly blending utility and formality across both men's and women's silhouettes as well as the reimagined trench details appearing as a sporty blouson collar, on skin-tight lycra pants, or shrunken into cut-out top straps. The collection introduces the soft-shaped 'Strip bag' with ingenious magnetic flaps and a hidden zipped pocket while versatil heritage codes see the 1964 cap sleeve defines floor-length polo dresses and men's tees, micro-houndstooth tweed tailors versatile mini-skorts, and boxy football jerseys dress maxi-skirts down. This collection continues Di Felice's exploration of modern dressing, offering pieces that are both contemporary and rooted in Courrèges' heritage, all presented through the intimate and raw lens of self-expression in the urban environment.

Pinstripe was one of the biggest trends on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet. More from WWD A hallmark of classic suiting, pinstripes are referenced in the Costume Institute's 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' exhibition, which is the theme of this year's gala. The exhibition shows how pinstripes can be reimagined to reflect both heritage and modern creativity in Black tailoring. Courrèges designed two looks for Chamberlain, who will also host Vogue's red carpet coverage on YouTube. Zuri Hall Zuri Hall Hall wore an avant-garde pinstriped outfit by Bishme Cromartie.
