Juvenile wounded in New Orleans East shooting
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a shooting that left a juvenile wounded in New Orleans East on Saturday, May 10.
The NOPD reported that officers received a report of a shooting in the 6600 block of Coveview Court around 8:12 p.m.
One hospitalized in Seventh Ward shooting
NOPD officials said a juvenile male was taken to a hospital in a private car with a gunshot wound to his leg.
According to the NOPD, the victim learned he had been shot after hearing gunshots in the area.
