Cowboys Headlines: Dak Prescott's 'Hail Mary' putt, Arch Manning rumors, run resurgence?
how well does the o-line know tyler trivia 🧐@Tee_sizzle_ | @TylerGuyton14 | @iamtylerbooker Dak Prescott has given fans his first long-distance highlight of the year, but this one came on the golf course. We've got the story of his monster putt coming up a little deeper in this recap of the day's Cowboys headlines, along with an interesting twist in the Arch Manning-to-Dallas conspiracy theory that won't be going away anytime soon. But we start with the ground game and a simple question: just how run-heavy will Brian Schottenheimer really get this season? The answer could, in part, depend on what one intriguing rookie does; we'll explain why Jaydon Blue's "red flags" could actually be the best thing he has going for him in the pros. Elsewhere, George Pickens has enraged his old Pittsburgh fanbase one final time; we'll share the reason he bailed on his own youth football camp and why Cowboys fans should be fine with it. Also, we've got D-line rankings, a look at O-line depth, a possibility to watch at cornerback later this summer, and the inspiring story of the most unlikely rookie the Cowboys will have in camp. All that, plus the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders continue their recent hot streak by stepping into the spotlight on late-night's biggest stage. How run heavy will Dallas really be? :: The Mothership Link Brian Schottenheimer has made it abundantly clear the Cowboys' offense will lean heavily on the rushing attack going forward. But the trio of Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens have the capability to deploy a high-octane passing game. Heavier on the run than in recent years? Almost certainly (which will also help the play-action to be taken seriously), but don't expect a return to DeMarco Murray-esque levels of 30 carries per contest. Cowboys rookie's red flags could be the reason he becomes phenomenal as a pro :: Cowboys Wire Link If some scouts thought Jaydon Blue showed an impatient running style at Texas and a prioritization of big plays over ball security, it may be because his opportunities always seemed to be threatened by the Longhorns' plethora of backs. His low usage rate is certainly a red flag, but it also explains a lot and may even be his saving grace. He's got a good excuse for his low mileage; maybe the Cowboys simply saw something that other teams in the draft didn't. 2025 NFL defensive line rankings: T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward propel Steelers to No. 1 :: PFF Link The Cowboys' defensive line was one of the worst units against the run in 2024, but they saw their overall stats buoyed by Micah Parsons, Osa Odighizuwa, and a fierce pass rush. They rank 12th here but could finish even higher if they prove to be at least average against the run. Every NFL team's potential breakout player in 2025 includes Cowboys rookie :: Cowboys Wire Link Edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku has insane pass rush skills, and he may have been the best pure edge in the entire 2025 draft class. He won't be overburdened in his first season, though, as there's a deep rotation at the position. But he could rack up six sacks or more for the Cowboys by the time the year is over. Test your Tyler knowledge with the Cowboys O-line :: Dallas Cowboys Assessing Cowboys' OL reveals questions on edge, excess depth inside :: Cowboys Wire Link The O-line's center and guards are set, but everything beyond that is uncertain. Tyler Guyton needs to improve or he risks getting benched again this season. And Terence Steele has been merely average for all but one season of his career. The Cowboys do have some experience as depth, including Asim Richards, Nate Thomas, T.J. Bass, Brock Hoffman, Rob Jones, Saahdiq Charles, and Hakeem Adenji. Matt Waletzko may be facing a tough road to the 53-man roster, however, and rookie Ajani Cornelius is looking to just make a first impression. Pickens picks Prescott over promise to Pittsburgh kids: Cowboys WR cancels camp for new QB :: Cowboys Wire Link The mercurial wideout had said he would return to host his George Pickens Youth Football Camp in Pittsburgh this June, even after being traded to Dallas. But instead, he's working and bonding with his Cowboys teammates at the annual retreat organized by Dak Prescott. Camp registrants are livid; the event will be rescheduled and feature at least one current Steelers player. Dak Prescott sinks 65-foot bomb to win match against Good Good Golf—is this the Cowboys' year? :: Golf Digest Link The Cowboys QB has notched his first clutch win of 2025. Earlier this week, Prescott teamed up with his brother Tad and backup Will Grier on the links against the guys from Good Good Golf. With the match tied at five-under, Dak stepped up and drained an incredible 65-foot birdie putt for the walkoff. Recent Arch Manning speculation makes him likelier to wind up with the Dallas Cowboys when he declares for the NFL Draft :: A to Z Sports Link First, it's very much an extreme long shot, despite what the national media may push to generate buzz. But consider this: Manning has revealed he wants a real college experience, not just one year as the Texas starter. That means he'd be coming out in 2027... when technically, Dallas would have an escape clause in Prescott's contract. It wouldn't be pretty from a dead-money and cap standpoint, but it would be doable. And so the speculation will continue. Cowboys rookie Tyler Neville's inspiring story is one of hope, overcoming stacked odds :: Dallas Morning News Link Born deaf, having a metal bar inserted into his body to correct a sunken chest, living through Hodgkin's lymphoma, and dealing with a back surgery that required him to learn to walk again as a teen, the undrafted free agent has already overcome more than most in his life. Now the Harvard product is alongside the best tight ends in the game at TEU and trying to make the roster of the Dallas Cowboys. Cowboys 53-man roster projection: One spot left open for player not on current roster :: The Athletic Link If the Cowboys are to make another notable roster move between now and the season opener, cornerback is the best bet. This roster projection allows for the addition of a veteran like Stephon Gilmore. If they choose to stick with who they have, Andrew Booth is likely the fifth CB, behind DaRon Bland, Shavon Revel, Jr., Kaiir Elam, and Caelen Carson (with Trevon Diggs starting out on IR). The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders appear on The Tonight Show :: D Magazine Link It's been a good week for America's Sweethearts. Season 2 of their Netflix show is a hit, they made national news by scoring a 400% pay raise for the upcoming season, and now they've performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. After an audience member made the suggestion, six members of the squad hit the stage to rock their signature "Thunderstruck" routine. Cowboys Headlines: Jake Ferguson one of 3 Cowboys at TEU; more Turpin time in '25?
We're talking wide receivers in this news recap, including CeeDee Lamb showing off some new party skills, Jalen Brooks doing some serious cooking over the offseason, we're forecasting what the new regime in Dallas could mean for KaVontae Turpin's usage on offense, and Dez Bryant uncharacteristically tries to water down some online hype. We're also talking tight ends: we'll tell you which trio of Cowboys are attending TEU this year. Also in the Cowboys headlines, we look into the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' long awaited pay raise, we're spotlighting two big-time position battles, we're wondering about midsummer trades, we're revisiting a potential Micah Parsons megacontract that works for all sides, and we're telling you why the Cowboys are among the best in the league when it comes to players' families. All that, plus an update on the Kelvin Joseph case, but we start with a bizarre prediction from an NBA A-lister involving the team's top defender wearing... Commanders burgundy and gold??? Parsons responds to Durant's belief the Cowboy could join Commanders with some Quinn love :: Cowboys Wire Link NBA star and Commanders fan Kevin Durant predicted that Parsons could be reunited with his former defensive coordinator in Washington within two years. "I only rock with Dan Quinn," Parsons allowed, going on to intimate that nothing else about the rival organization would hold any interest for him. 20 Questions: Do you see a new role for KaVontae Turpin? :: The Mothership Link The Pro Bowl return man got the ball more on offense last year supposedly at Brian Schottenheimer's urging, so this year could theoretically mean even more of an expanded role. But with George Pickens in town and a revamped rushing attack, there simply may not be a huge jump to be had in this hybrid playmaker's touches. Dez Bryant has succinct response after efforts to crown son prematurely :: Cowboys Wire Link Bryant's son was featured in an online post, with the account wondering if he'd end up being better than his dad. Dez jumped in quickly to shut it down, but not in the way you might think. "We dont need this hype train around my son," Bryant replied, "because that's not the goal. I care for him to be judged on his honest he has a long way to go to get where he wants to be." This Dallas Cowboys receiver is spending the offseason cooking for his teammates :: Fort Worth Star-Telegram Link Jalen Brooks has been cooking since he was 12, having learned from his grandmother and mother. Multiple times already this offseason, Brooks has had teammates over at his house to act as chef, whipping up everything from ribs and steak to spicy lobster pasta for his fellow Cowboys. 'It's 10 out of 10, for real,' Jonathan Mingo raved. CeeDee Lamb dominates in Cane's Sauce pong at Fanatics Fest :: Raising Cane's PFF spotlights 2 Cowboys position battles among NFL's most intriguing this preseason :: Cowboys Wire Link Of the 10 NFL position battles most worth watching this summer, the Cowboys have two. Many believe either Javonte Williams or Miles Sanders will make the final roster, but maybe not both. How they duke it out during camp will be interesting. And there's a five-way fight shaping up for the edge rusher position opposite Micah Parsons, with rookie Donovan Ezeiruaku expected to make a huge impact. 5 Fringe Cowboys who could be traded during training camp before roster cuts :: Cowboys Wire Link There's still time to get something in return for a player who won't make the Week 1 roster. Luke Schoonmaker, T.J. Bass, Dakoda Shepley, and Tyrus Wheat could find new life with another organization. Same goes for Parris Campbell, who saw his chances in Dallas take a hit when the Cowboys traded for George Pickens. NFC East 2025: One reason the Cowboys, Eagles, Commanders can win competitive division :: CBS Sports Link The East is, once again, a beast. For the Cowboys, just having their best players healthy will be a welcome change from 2024. The defense will still have some key injuries to contend with, but if George Pickens can open up the offense as expected, there's no reason Dallas can't make a run at the division crown. Cowboys need to stop delaying inevitable, award Parsons this $200 million deal :: Cowboys Wire Link No movement yet, but it's not because there isn't a set of numbers that would work for both sides. A five-year, $205 million deal with a $27.5 million signing bonus would give Parsons a big payment in March of most seasons, and then weekly salaries during the season. There could be exit deals for the club and even a "Zack Martin clause" that lets Parsons walk away if he wants. Cowboys 53-man pre-training camp projection: Does Diggs make it? 2nd rounder cut? :: Cowboys Wire Link This projection says goodbye to Deuce Vaughn and Buddy Johnson, trades Luke Schoonmaker away, and sees Phil Mafah go to the practice squad. And in a surprise that shows how deep the Cowboys are at the position, cornerback Caelen Carson is no sure thing to land a roster spot. Jake Ferguson one of 3 Cowboys tight ends at TEU :: Tom Downey Family of motorcyclist killed in crash with ex-Dallas Cowboys player files lawsuit :: Dallas Morning News Link Cody Morris's family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against former Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph. The Plano woman was killed in early June when her motorcycle was hit on U.S. 75 in Richardson. Joseph notified police that he had been involved in the crash and was observed as having signs of intoxication. Two businesses that allegedly served Joseph alcohol before the crash are also named in the lawsuit. The suit was filed on behalf of the woman's 7-year-old daughter. Why did it take 65 seasons to pay the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders a living wage? :: Texas Monthly Link During the squad's cultural peak of the early 1980s, gameday pay was just $15: "It wasn't even enough to pay for their pantyhose, for goodness sake," former DCC director Suzanne Mitchell recalled. We learned during a 2017 lawsuit that modern-day squad members were allegedly paid just $8 an hour, well below the $23-per-hour rate currently considered a living wage in the Dallas area. That's even three times less than what Rowdy makes, so the new raise is long, long overdue. Ice cream trucks, the Landry Room: ESPN says Cowboys treat players' families right :: Cowboys Wire Link For three years running, Dallas has placed in the top five leaguewide for their treatment of players' families. The gameday family gathering area gets high marks, much better than teams like Cleveland, who sets up a tent outside the stadium in the parking lot, or the Bengals, who don't offer childcare at all. Perks like ice cream trucks for families at The Star on the Saturday before a home game also got favorable reviews. Follow Cowboys Wire on Facebook to join in on the conversation with fellow fans!

Cowboys News Headlines: Prescott, Lamb pushed to get Kupp; Dallas' Micah Parsons problem
Cowboys News Headlines: Prescott, Lamb pushed to get Kupp; Dallas' Micah Parsons problem The second week of free agency has gotten off to a much quieter start for the Cowboys than the first week, with much of the attention settling on some of the players added during the past several days. In this news roundup, we'll hear from new Cowboys Jack Sanborn and Kaiir Elam about what they'll bring to the defense, and Javonte Williams will share how what he thought was a spam telephone call led to his signing in Dallas. Plus, Dante Fowler explains how his first stint as a Cowboy led to an outstanding year in Washington... which ultimately brought him right back to The Star. Elsewhere, we'll hear about a few of the front office's misses in free agency. It turns out Cooper Kupp had major star power lobbying for him in Dallas; we'll tell you what brought the talks to a screeching halt. And we'll look at a few big names still on the market who could fill major holes on the roster. Do the Cowboys have a Micah Parsons problem? That's still a question being tossed around, and we'll try to decipher what the team will do at running back come draft day. All that, plus a look at 14 new jersey numbers handed out in Dallas... including a few you'll definitely recognize from years gone by. How Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb tried to get Cooper Kupp to join Cowboys :: Link Prescott and Lamb were apparently involved in "making a push" for the Cowboys to sign the former Super Bowl MVP. But things reportedly ground to an abrupt halt when the front office "heard the numbers" about what Kupp was expecting in the way of a contract. Seattle signed the receiver to a three-year deal worth $45 million. Do the Dallas Cowboys have a Micah Parsons problem? :: Dallas Morning News Link From absences at voluntary team workouts to the in-season podcasting to public critiques from teammates like Malik Hooker and DeMarcus Lawrence, the questions continue about Parsons's commitment to the team and whether he's good for the locker room. In his defense, Parsons has said everybody leads in different ways. And now with a new megacontract up in the air, everybody is watching to see how the organization responds. PFF Power Rankings: Cowboys are NFL bottom-feeders after 1st week of free agency :: Cowboys Wire Link Despite far more offseason moves than at this point last year, Pro Football Focus has put Dallas in the bottom 10 of the league after a week of free agency. Thanks to a penny-pinching approach that relies on discount deals and short-term signings, the team will- once again- likely have to lean heavily on its star quarterback-receiver duo to carry the load. Amazingly, Cowboys have kept $6 million streak alive for 10 years :: Cowboys Wire Link No Cowboys player added from outside the organization has received a deal worth over $6 million a year since Greg Hardy got $11 million for a one-year contract in 2015. Kenneth Murray signed for $5.9 million, just under. Even Dante Fowler's 2025 pact is worth $8 million only if certain incentives are met. It's a ridiculously comical streak for a team whose owner and GM loves to say there isn't a check he wouldn't write for another Super Bowl win. Dante Fowler Jr. feels he has something to prove in second stint with Cowboys :: The Mothership Link Fowler had his best season since 2019 in his one year with the Commanders, but he credits his two years spent in Dallas with that explosion in production. "It was pretty big, just to be able to go out there and show the people that I'm still here and be able to produce at a high level," Fowler said. Now he's looking forward to being a veteran leader- again in Dallas- for the likes of Sam Williams and Marshawn Kneeland. "I still have a lot out there to prove and to put out there," he said. "I'm looking forward to playing in this defense, I'm ready to go out there and lay it all on the line." New Number, Who's This? Cowboys reassign 14 jerseys to newbies, Thomas takes Lawrence's 90 :: Cowboys Wire Link The Cowboys' newest players have been assigned jersey numbers, and four returning players will sport new digits in 2025. Some eyebrows were raised online when DeMarcus Lawrence's No. 90 was reissued less than a week after his departure, but that's really standard procedure. Jourdan Lewis, Ezekiel Elliott, Brandin Cooks, and Rico Dowdle are others from last year's team whose numbers have already been recycled. How a call from an unknown number led to Javonte Williams signing with the Dallas Cowboys :: Fort Worth Star-Telegram Link "I thought it was span," the newly-signed running back said of the pair of unfamiliar calls he got last week. Actually, it was Cowboys RB coach Derrick Foster with a sales pitch to bring the first-time free agent to Dallas. But the oft-injured ballcarrier knows his roster spot isn't guaranteed. 'From what they're telling me, we just want a competitive room,' Williams said. 'Everybody go in and compete and may the best guy win." 'I was always put in the back seat': New Cowboys CB Kaiir Elam confident he'll succeed after trade from Bills :: CBS Sports Link The former first-round pick felt his development wasn't a priority in Buffalo. "I don't really see it as a negative," Elam said. "I really just see it as a growing opportunity for me to go shine somewhere else." The 23-year-old says he's already felt the love from Matt Eberflus. "I'm confident because I'm coming into a staff that really believes in me. I don't think they would have made a move if they didn't. I don't need a red carpet or anything like that. I just want to be able to earn it with a fair opportunity." New Dallas Cowboys LB Jack Sanborn brings exact mindset team needs :: Link The ex-Bear reuniting with his former head coach should know the new defensive scheme; now he'll be able to be a leader for his new unit in Dallas. "Just doing whatever I can to help guys get up to speed," Sanborn said, "and just help each other out because at the end of the day, we're all in this together as one." With the recent Parsons-Lawrence spat still hanging in the air, that last part is precisely what the Cowboys defense needs right now. Cowboys geared up to potentially make this gamble in the 2025 NFL draft :: Cowboys Wire Link The Cowboys signing Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams has indicated to some that the team may be considering waiting until late in the draft to pick up a value collegiate ballcarrier from this year's deep class rather than grabbing one of the top options in the first couple rounds. That could mean another year of running back by committee in Dallas... but it would open up those early picks for an elite talent at another key position. Cowboys still have work to do: 3 free agents who could help them, 3 they missed out on :: The Athletic Link Dre Greenlaw, Kristian Fulton, and Poona Ford could have been good fits in Dallas, but they've all signed with other teams. Wide receiver Keenan Allen, cornerback Asante Samuel Jr., and defensive tackle Calais Campbell are still out there... and each could fill a massive hole for the Cowboys in 2025. LOOK: Cowboys legend known for injuries still getting hurt while retired :: Cowboys Wire Link Sean Lee is one of the all-time great what-might-have-been stories, a tackling machine who couldn't manage to stay healthy and was always banged up during an all-too-short Cowboys career. That seemingly hasn't changed, even in retirement. Lee was photographed at a gathering of Cowboys players celebrating Zack Martin's stellar career; the ex-linebacker was sporting a noticeable black eye.

Cowboys News Headlines: OL added late Monday, Cooper Kupp chances, Dowdle done in Dallas?
Cowboys News Headlines: OL added late Monday, Cooper Kupp chances, Dowdle done in Dallas? Monday was a very busy day around the league as the unofficial start of free agency got underway, and the Cowboys actually made a handful of moves, though not all of them were popular ones. Losing cornerback Jourdan Lewis is going to hurt, and replacing him won't be at all easy, especially given the team's current depth at the position. Chauncey Golston and Chuma Edoga are also set to join new clubs... and Rico Dowdle may be joining them after Dallas came to terms with a similar running back on the first day of "legal tampering." Also added, a 17-game starter along the offensive line and the long snapper who's already been in the building for several seasons. Meanwhile, we get Micah Parsons's three-letter reaction to one Commanders move, Cooper Kupp could still be in play for the Cowboys' WR2 role, and we dig into whether newly re-signed Markquese Bell is ready for a starting role at safety. We look at what his new contract could say about Donovan Wilson, we sift through the list of best available free agents after Day One, and a former Cowboy could be meeting back up with some very familiar faces as he attempts an NFL comeback. Cowboys signing OL Robert Jones to one-year deal :: Pro Football Rumors Link The Cowboys did some late-night business Monday by agreeing to add offensive lineman Rob Jones. The 26-year-old has been with Miami for four seasons and made 30 starts, including every game last year. Jones will come to Dallas on a one-year contract worth up to $4.75 million. Cowboys lose integral CB to Jaguars in $30 million free agency deal :: Cowboys Wire Link Jourdan Lewis will become the NFL's top-paid nickel corner with a $30 million three-year deal from Jacksonville. A leader both on the field and in the Cowboys locker room, Lewis saw four different defensive coordinators come and go in Dallas over eight seasons. Cowboys wanted Jourdan Lewis back. Losing the veteran puts Dallas in a bind at key spot :: Dallas Morning News Link The Jags' offer to Lewis proved to be far more than the Cowboys were reportedly willing to part with to keep him. 'God's timing,'' Lewis said on social media. Now Dallas may open the 2025 season without two of their top three corners from last year. Trevon Diggs is rehabbing, leaving DaRon Bland the only proven starter remaining. If the team doesn't dip into the free-agent market to replace Lewis, selecting at least one corner in the April draft — arguably in the first two days — becomes imperative. Cowboys to grab former Broncos 2nd-round RB on cheap, prove-it free agency deal :: Cowboys Wire Link Dallas got in on the first day of signings, but elected not to break the bank. The team agreed to a one-year deal with Javonte Williams for a reported $3 million. The ex-Bronco had over 1,200 yards from scrimmage as a rookie in 2021, but he hasn't been quite the same since a knee injury the following season. He may serve the role of the grinder out of the Cowboys backfield as the entire RB room undergoes a huge makeover. Cowboys agree to deal with running back Javonte Williams. Is Rico Dowdle's time in Dallas done? :: Fort Worth Star-Telegram Link Dowdle is expected to earn a deal in the neighborhood of $6 million per season, likely pricing him out of Dallas. A team source has hinted that Dowdle's time with the team is indeed over. The Cowboys will remain players to land a running back in the draft, having met formally with several of the top options at the scouting combine. Report: Key piece of Cowboys' OL depth to depart in free agency :: Cowboys Wire Link Chuma Edoga, who has filled in at both guard and tackle for the Cowboys over the past two years, is headed to Jacksonville. The veteran started 10 games in a Cowboys uniform and proved to be a versatile depth piece up front. Golston to join G-Men :: Tom Pelissero Cowboys win big with preemptive free agent signings :: Cowboys Wire Link While the Cowboys didn't make headlines with a big free agency splash on Day One, they did come into the week having already made deals to retain some key players. Not letting Osa Odighizuwa, Brock Hoffman, Markquese Bell, or KaVontae Turpin hit the open market shouldn't be overlooked as fans grade their teams' roster moves. Cooper Kupp landing spots: Best fits for All-Pro WR who's set to be released if Rams can't find trade partner :: CBS Sports Link Whispers about 2021's Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl LVI MVP coming to Dallas will only get louder with news that the Rams say they will release Kupp on Wednesday if they cannot find a trade partner for him before then. The Cowboys need reinforcements around CeeDee Lamb, and Kupp's college mentor is now on Brian Schottenheimer's staff. Cowboys sign key member of special teams kicking operation to 3-year contract :: Cowboys Wire Link For the second year in a row, long snapper Trent Sieg was the Cowboys' first signing of the free agency period. This time, it's on a three-year contract worth $4.45 million. Sieg has proven to be a valuable component of the Cowboys' kicking battery, helping punter Bryan Anger and phenom placekicker Brandon Aubrey lead their respective positions. Micah Parsons was not happy about Laremy Tunsil Commanders trade :: Link The Texans sent the monster offensive tackle to Washington, where the Cowboys will see him twice a season from now on. Tunsil ranked fourth in the league in pass blocking, allowing just two sacks all season. Parsons reacted on social media with just three letters: "WTF," he posted on X. 7th-year, $24 million starter's job now in jeopardy after Cowboys spend some cash :: Cowboys Wire Link The team wanting to keep Markquese Bell isn't a surprise, but their financial commitment could signal expectations of a much bigger role. Heavy hitter Donovan Wilson is coming off a noticeably down year; his inconsistency may open the door for Bell to get more playing time and set the stage for his own departure from Dallas. Is Markquese Bell ready to compete for a starting job on the Dallas Cowboys' defense? :: Cowboys Wire Link Bell saw just six percent of the team's defensive snaps last season, so it may be premature to assume his new deal automatically pencils him in as a starter at safety. The Cowboys may simply want to lock him in as a more-than-capable backup and special-teams contributor, knowing he can also moonlight at linebacker-type duties in certain packages. Dallas has questions there, too. Who are the best available NFL free agents? Aaron Rodgers, Stefon Diggs among the big names :: The Athletic Link As the first day of legal tampering ended, there were still plenty of players available who should be of interest to the Cowboys. Jonathan Allen, Javon Hargrave, or Dalvin Tomlinson could turn the Dallas D-line into an area of strength overnight. Stefon Diggs, Amari Cooper, and Tyler Lockett are still very capable WR2s. And Za'Darius Smith, Joey Bosa, and Von Miller could all be worth kicking the tires on to see what they have left. Yes, the Cowboys can attack 2025 free agency with urgency as well as frugality. Will they? :: Cowboys Wire Link This year's free agent class has a deep pool of affordable role players at positions where the Cowboys should be looking. That should help them stick to their usual plan of letting the market come to them after the initial frenzy, yet still come away with quality talent. They can certainly be more active than last year without changing their identity. Former Cowboys WR set to visit division rival :: Ian Rapoport The Cowboys are in need of linebackers and these free agents might help :: Cowboys Wire Link The team's top options at linebacker are currently rehabbing injury, on the free agent block, or inexperienced. The front office should look at veteran options like Jack Sandborn and Kyzir White.
