High School Roundup: Townies cruise to the finals
PROVIDENCE, RI (WPRI) – East Providence had no problems handling Toll Gate in Girls Lacrosse. The Townies knocked off the Titans, 15-6, and punched their ticket to the finals on Sunday at Brown University.
Cranston East will go to the Championship game after knocking off Rogers, 6-2, in Girls Softball. Tiverton will be waiting for them in the championship game. Tiverton beat Cranston East 14-2 and sent them to the losers' bracket. Now the rematch will be for the title.
