Brick Convention coming to Evansville this weekend
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – The Old National Events Plaza will be host to the Brick Convention this weekend. The Brick Convention is a LEGO fan event that features professional LEGO artists from around the world, local LEGO builders, and LEGO fans of all ages. Multiple sessions from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2 p.m.-5 p.m. will be available on both Saturday and Sunday for fans. Event goers will be able to see their favorite LEGO collectables and even some that are one of one. Each day will feature the same exhibits and activities, so fans won't have to worry about missing out if they can't make a day. Tickets to the convention will be $20 at the door, but $15 online. Local LEGO artists to be featured at the Springfield Brick Convention
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — LEGO artists in Springfield will get the chance to display different LEGO creations at the Springfield Brick Convention at the Springfield Expo Center next weekend. The event will support the organization 'Creations for Charity' with a portion of the proceeds going toward the organization. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Ozarks LEGO fans will be saying, ''LEGO' to the convention,' next month, as a massive LEGO convention is coming to the Springfield Expo Center soon. According to a news release, the LEGO Brick Convention — which is available for LEGO lovers of all ages — arrives in Springfield on Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11, marking the first LEGO convention Springfield has seen so far. The event will support Creations for Charity, with a portion of the convention's proceeds going to the all-volunteer nonprofit organization. Creations for Charity is an organization that buys new LEGO sets for underprivileged children around the world during the holidays, according to the news release. At the convention, professional LEGO Artists will come in from around the United States to display their LEGO creations and to meet with fans.
