Adobe (ADBE) Stock Rises As Analysts Back Price Hike Move

Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) shares rose 3% on May 16 after analyst firm Jefferies maintained its Buy rating for the company's stock with a $590 price target. Following the announcement of a price increase for its Creative Cloud All Apps plans, which will take effect on June 17 or upon subscription renewal, analyst Brent Thill expressed confidence in Adobe's financial outlook. Copyright: photogearch / 123RF Stock Photo Leading software development company Adobe Inc. (NASDAQ:ADBE) is renowned for its state-of-the-art digital media solutions. Its primary products, which include Creative Cloud, are essential tools for the creative industries and companies worldwide. Following sneak peeks of Creative Cloud updates at Adobe's MAX analyst day last fall, several market analysts say the new tiers should not come as a shock. More importantly, the change is expected to support Adobe's revenue forecast for fiscal year 2025, which predicts a growth rate of 8.9% at the halfway point, compared to 10.8% growth in fiscal year 2024. Thill stated that the company's revenue projections now seem conservative due to the price increase, which was already included in the FY25 guidance. He also added that the price increase should strengthen Adobe's position in the artificial intelligence market, especially when combined with the company's Firefly plans, which range from $10 to $200 per month. When is Teacher Appreciation Week 2025? What to know about discounts and deals in Tennessee

It won't be long before Tennessee schools will be out for the summer, but the home stretch until break is still packed with events, lessons and more. So, it's time to show teachers a little extra appreciation. Teacher Appreciation Week has taken place in the United States over the last several decades. The tradition of showing teachers how much they are appreciated usually happens toward the end of the school year and is meant to show teachers an extra bit of love during what can often be a hectic time of year. And that week is almost upon us for 2025. Opinion: Celebrate wonderful public school educators during Teacher Appreciation Week | Opinion For 2025, Teacher Appreciation Week starts May 5 and continues until May 9. Teacher Appreciation Week is always the first full week of May. Teacher Appreciation Week has a long history. It originally started as a single day of appreciation in 1953 and was championed by Eleanor Roosevelt. It wasn't until the 1980s that it grew to be what it is today. 'In 1953, Eleanor Roosevelt persuaded Congress to set aside a day to recognize teachers. Back then, it was just a single day of recognition,' according to Teachers of Tomorrow. 'However, due to the overwhelming support for honoring teachers, the National Education Association (NEA) successfully lobbied to turn it into a full week in 1986.' Retailers usually offer teachers a special discount during Teacher Appreciation Week, while others sometimes have specials year-round for them. In April, Teachers of Tomorrow put together a list of some deals and promotions for Teacher Appreciation Week: Michael's teacher discount: Michael's offers educators a 15% discount on all purchases, including sale items. Photoshop at 35: tell us what you love (and what you don't)

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. On 19 February 1990, a software program was shipped that would shape creative workflows for three and a half decades. Adobe Photoshop was born. The program made image editing tools previously available only to large companies much more accessible, and within a couple of years 'Photoshop' was being used as a verb. It's remained the industry-standard tool for digital art and image manipulation ever since (also see our history of Photoshop). But could it be improved? Strong competition has emerged over the years (see our guide to Photoshop alternatives), yet regular updates always seem to keep Photoshop a step ahead, from the addition of layers in Photoshop 3 (1994) to the Liquify filter in Photoshop 6.0 (2000) and generative AI tools in the most recent updates. And then there's the integration with Adobe's other programs (see our Adobe software list). This is why it still tops our pick of the best digital art software. But that doesn't mean Photoshop is perfect. Everyone who has used the program will have their pet peeves: the subscription plan maybe, perhaps a workflow that could be faster, unsupported formats or missing tools or features that you would like to see added. Whether you're a Photoshop veteran or a new user, we want to know what you think. As Photoshop turns 35, let us know why do you use Photoshop rather than the alternatives, and what do you like about it? Or why don't you use it if you've switched or never used it? And if you are a Photoshop user, what would you improve if could change anything, no matter how big or small, about the software. The suggestions can be as minor or as ambitious as you like; just let us know in the comments below what you think. If you've been waiting for the moment to try the software, there's currently up to 40% off Adobe's Creative Cloud All Apps plan depending on where you're located.
