Sandals probably feel a bit too casual, but the rising temperatures usually mean loafers or heels are off the table too. Ralph Lauren's Canvas Mary Jane Espadrilles are a great choice, giving a chic and sophisticated look whilst still being summery and comfortable. But if their £319 price tag is enough to put you off don't fret, because we've spotted a very similar pair at Crew Clothing for a much more affordable price. The Mary Jane Espadrilles are priced at £65, saving you £254 and have the same breezy and sophisticated look as the designer pair. Coming in both red and navy blue the shoes take the best elements of both espadrilles and classic Mary Janes and combine them together. They feature an authentic flat sole with woven jute trim, with a rounded toe and single strap fastening over the arches. The fastening is fully adjustable with a buckle closure so you can get the right fit, and the flat flexible sole means they're comfortable enough to wear all day – even on a long commute. The upper is made from a soft breathable canvas-style material, whilst the outer soles are rubber which gives you plenty of grip and security. You can easily style them with everything from jeans and a T-shirt to midi dresses and wide leg trousers, making them a great versatile option to have in your wardrobe. For a slightly different twist, Charles & Keith's £59 Faux Suede Slip-On Mary Jane Espadrilles are made from faux suede, rather than canvas, and have a slip-on mule-style design for added breeziness and comfort. However if you want to get your hands on Crew Clothing's Mary Jane Espadrilles you can still pick them up in all sizes from a 4 to an 8, with only size 3s currently out of stock.

Rowing hard: Crew Clothing opens Chiswick store, expects 20 more in UK by year-end
Premium British lifestyle brand Crew Clothing Thursday opened its latest store, in Chiswick, West London, becoming its fourth location in the capital, with ambitious plans to open many more country-wide by year-end. The new 1,200 sq ft space takes its place on Chiswick High Road, and follows last month's announcement of a further store opening in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The new store brings 'a slice of coastal inspired style to the capital', with the brand's SS25 collections. Head of Marketing, Naomi Parry, said: 'It's a really exciting time for the brand, with all-new ranges, our world-class sponsorship programme, and an ambitious store opening strategy that should see us open 20 new stores by the end of 2025. 'Our investment in new locations within the capital is a true reflection of our belief in the British High Street', with its physical retail stock now having surpassed 100 stores. Last month, Crew Clothing also moved into the women's athleisure space, launching a collection called 38-piece collection includes a SuperLuxe Half Zip sweatshirt, Slim Jogger with a split hem, and Relaxed Shorts.

We found a £60 version of Kate Middleton's £155 go-to summer espadrille wedges
Kate Middleton often wears her espadrille wedges on repeat during the spring and summer months, and we managed to track down a lookalike pair that are almost £100 less Although she's no stranger to outfit repeating, there's one thing we've seen Kate Middleton wear on repeat more than almost anything else over the years; her espadrille wedges. The Princess of Wales has been spotted on countless occasions in a pair of Castaner Carina Suede Espadrilles, wearing them with everything from wide leg jeans to flowing midi dresses for all kinds of occasions. Although the Castaner wedges aren't breaking the bank by royal standards, the £155 price tag may be a little out of reach for some. However, we managed to track down an almost identical pair at Crew Clothing which will save you some pennies, with the Faith Classic Heeled Espadrille priced at a much for budget-friendly £60. The Faith sandals mirror Princess Kate 's thanks to their espadrille style, with a jute wedge heel and suede closed toes. The suede is made from real leather which is wipe clean, and comes in a range of three colours; beige, pale pink and black. They fasten with an ankle strap which is finished in the same suede, with adjustable buckle fastenings. The heel is also enclosed in a flexible raffia with a subtle check pattern to get a secure fit. The wedge heel and small platform sole is low enough to be comfortable and wearable all day, but is still high enough to be suitable for more formal occasions like weddings. Of course there's several other brands who offer a similar style, like these Pink Forever Comfort® Round Toe Espadrille Stud Detail Wedges from Next, which are super affordable at £42 and come in both pale pink and black with the brand's signature comfort soles. If you're worried about how the suede upkeep would be there's also the Canvas Espadrille Wedge Sandals from Tommy Hilfiger. They're £90 with a cotton canvas toe and heel sections which are easier to clean up, and come in a choice of white, pink, navy and black. We also love this very similar pair of Rosina Leather Espadrilles from Jones Bootmaker, which are on sale down from £89 to £59. However shoppers have been praising the comfort and style of the Faith Classic Heeled Espadrilles, with one saying: 'Bought these today in the neutral colour and plan to buy the navy as well. Wish they had a blush pink. I have wide feet size 6. These are so comfortable and I just love them. The right height to make you feel you've dressed up.' Another agreed: 'Fit perfectly. Not too high, very comfortable.' In fact, there was only one review which wasn't five stars, which said: 'These were pretty shoes but didn't fit my wide feet. The toe box could have done with being a bit deeper. Fine for those with the right shaped feet. Sadly not for me.'

Crew Clothing enters athleisure segment
Crew Clothing has moved into the women's athleisure space, launching a collection called SuperLuxe. The capsule 'combines comfort with the premium British lifestyle brand's signature style' and features a selection of 'super-soft casual styles, perfect for relaxed days and gentle, everyday movement'. Key to the collection is the signature fabric, produced from a viscose, polyester and elastane blend, 'offering the benefits of breathability, wrinkle-resistance and ease of movement'. The 'understated' separates have been designed in a muted, tonal colour palette, 'allowing the customer to mix and match different pieces within the range'. Brand detailing includes 'subtle' silicone printed logos and hardware, 'in keeping with the quiet luxury aesthetic of the capsule'. The 38-piece collection includes a SuperLuxe Half Zip sweatshirt, Slim Jogger with a split hem, and Relaxed Shorts. All of the pieces have also been designed to be styled with Crew Clothing's wider collection, it noted. Prices range from £35-£65.
