Police investigating nonfatal shooting in Hartford
Police are investigating a nonfatal shooting in Hartford on Thursday night.
Officers were alerted to gunfire through a ShotSpotter notification at 10:08 p.m. in the 100 block of Francis Avenue and found evidence that shots had been fired when they responded to the area, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.
Shortly thereafter, a man in his 20s arrived at an area hospital and sought treatment for a gunshot injury, Boisvert said. He was listed in stable condition.
The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded and assumed the investigation, which remains ongoing.
