Seattle Police: Man stabbed in the buttocks during drunken fight
A man is recovering after police say he was stabbed in the buttocks following a fight with an acquaintance. Seattle police responded to Beacon Ave. S and 15th Ave. S. around 8:20 p.m. for reports of a person stabbed. They found the 59-year-old victim on a King County Metro Coach with a stab wound to the buttocks. He was treated by the fire department and taken to Harborview Medical Center. According to police, the man and the suspect, his acquaintance, were drinking alcohol behind a gas station. While they were drinking, they got into an argument and the suspect stabbed the victim, police said. Officers set up a security perimeter around the area for a K9 scent track. However, the K9 team could not conduct the search due to the highly populated area. Officers did not locate the suspect. Deadly Wallingford fire now being investigated as arson-related homicide
A 72-year-old woman was pulled from a house fire in Wallingford last week, and succumbed to her injuries. Now, police are investigating her death as an 'arson-related homicide.' On June 4, around 1 a.m., dozens of Seattle Fire Department crews were called to a home on Sunnyside Avenue N, a few blocks away from Lake Union. A home and a tree were on fire, and Seattle Fire crews found a woman inside, on the ground, and within a few feet of the doorway while fighting the fire. They pulled her out and began working to revive her. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center where she later died form her injuries. SPD's Arson-Bomb Squad was initially assigned to this case. They learned that someone had left the scene before first responders arrived. Investigators determined that the cause of the fire was not accidental. Man shot in Seattle's CID neighborhood, suspect sought
Seattle police are investigating a shooting in the Chinatown-International District that happened overnight Tuesday. Officers responded to an area near 12th Ave S and S King Street around 11 p.m. on May 27 and found a 42-year-old man with at least two gunshot wounds. The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was listed in serious condition. The suspect ran off before police arrived and they did not locate him. Officers processed the scene and collected evidence. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. 16-year-old found with gunshot injuries in Seward Park, Seattle on Friday
SEATTLE - One teen was hospitalized overnight for a shooting in South Seattle's Seward Park. The shooting comes on the same night as a separate shooting nearby where a robbery suspect shot at two people in their car. Timeline Seattle police say they received calls of someone threatening a 16-year-old with a gun on Lake Washington Boulevard South. Officers reported hearing shots upon their arrival to investigate the earlier claims. The teen was found by the park's amphitheater with gunshot injuries to his abdomen, according to SPD. First responders carried him about 300 feet to the nearest Seattle Fire truck for immediate medical intervention. From there, police report the teenage victim was transferred to the hospital in serious, but stable condition. What's next Police were not able to find a shooting suspect. Teen shot in Seattle by couple on Lime scooter
The Brief Seattle police are investigating a shooting that sent a 15-year-old boy to the hospital Friday afternoon. Officers said the victim was shot by two suspects on a Lime scooter, and another teen boy returned fire. No arrests have been made yet. According to the Seattle Fire Department, the victim and two other teen boys were at the gas station and got into some type of altercation with a man and woman on a Lime scooter. The couple on the Lime scooter shot the 15-year-old, and one of the boys returned fire, according to SPD. The two boys then left in a vehicle, leaving the victim behind. The suspects fled on the scooter. No arrests have been made in the case yet. Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
