Following a 2023 renovation, this legendary restaurant – originally opened in the 16th century (yes, really) – now boasts a rooftop for the very first time. Surrounded by planters and seated at marble-topped tables, you'll get an eyeful of the Seine, Île de la Cité, and a sea of zinc rooftops from which the Eiffel Tower rises like a beacon. Stunning stuff. To drink? There's a lavish list of champagnes priced like you're in Monaco (Cristal Louis Roederer 2015 is €98 a glass!) or three cocktails, each a clever twist on a classic. To go full Parisian dandy, you can even treat yourself to a Davidoff cigar (€43). Heads up: you'll need a reservation to access this golden rooftop perch.
