Minneapolis comedy festival returns for 3rd year with Jamie Kennedy, Emo Phillips
A troll of comedians — that's what a group of comedians is called, right? — will descend on the Twin Cities in June.
Crooners Supper Club in Minneapolis, best known as a jazz club, has unveiled the expansive lineup for the third annual Loons on the Lake Comedy Festival, which will collect 90 comedians for performances from June 4–7.
Among the headliners for the 2025 edition are Jamie Kennedy, Emo Phillips, Mary Mack, C. Willie Myles, Don McMillan, Jeff Gerbino, Greg Hahn, and the winner of its 2024 comedy competition, Maggie Farris.
As it did last year, local standups can sign up to participate in its Lake Comedy Competition, which awards $10,000 to the winner. Prospective comedy stars can apply for the showcase on the fest's website by sending in a video of their stand-up chops.
