File photo: RTHK Tickets for the Ngong Ping 360 cable car system will go up for the first time in almost two years on June 10, with an average increase of 6.2 percent. The fare for a standard round-trip ticket for adults will go up to HK$295 from the current HK$270, while the price for children aged 3 to 11 will rise from HK$135 to HK$150. Crystal Cabin ticket prices will also increase for both adults and children, with round-trip fares going up to HK$365 and HK$220, respectively. Senior ticket prices will remain unchanged. Hong Kong residents, meanwhile, can enjoy the current fares until the end of August by presenting a valid Hong Kong ID or birth certificate. The cable car operator also announced that the price for the adult annual pass will climb to HK$620 from HK$595 from July 10.
