Eminem's Albums Are All On The Rise

Eminem sees four albums rise on the U.K.'s Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, including The ... More Death of Slim Shady and longtime staple Curtain Call. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 05: Eminem performs onstage during the 37th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Microsoft Theater on November 05, 2022 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo byfor The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) Getty Images for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Eminem is currently in a quiet period of his career, as he stopped promoting his latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) , months ago. After delivering multiple hit singles and expanding the set with several new tunes, the project was nominated for multiple Grammys. It didn't take home any prizes to add to the rapper's already packed shelf at the most recent ceremony, and now it seems that the American musician has retreated again. Fans remain eager to hear more from the superstar. Although there's no word yet on when he may release new music or what he has planned next, his loyal followers continue to return to both the classics and his most recent effort. This week, in the U.K., multiple Eminem projects are once again gaining ground on the same tally. On the latest edition of the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, which ranks the bestselling full-lengths in those genres across the U.K., Eminem claims four spots. All four collections are currently on the rise. Some move up just a few positions, while others see double-digit gains. At the moment, Curtain Call: The Hits is Eminem's highest-rising win. That's typically the case, as it's his longest-charting success story and a project built around the singles that helped make him a global superstar. This frame, it soars on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, jumping from No. 25 to No. 16. Eminem's most recent full-length, The Death of Slim Shady , increases its position from No. 24 to No. 21. Just a few spots behind that win, The Eminem Show leaps 10 spaces from No. 37 to No. 27. The Marshall Mathers LP , yet another early-career release, is also gaining ground. This time around, it moves up four places to settle at No. 30. With four placements on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, Eminem comes in just behind Kendrick Lamar in terms of total real estate owned. Lamar sees five titles — GNX , Good Kid, M.A.A.D City , To Pimp a Butterfly , Damn and Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers — all take up space on the same ranking. Curtain Call: The Hits is Eminem's Biggest Win Three of Eminem's releases — The Death of Slim Shady , The Eminem Show and The Marshall Mathers LP — only appear on this one chart in the U.K. Curtain Call: The Hits , meanwhile, can be found on a total of four rankings, the most among any of his releases. Its sequel, Curtain Call 2 , appears on two rosters: the main list of the most consumed albums in the country, and the Official Albums Streaming chart…but it doesn't manage to find space on the genre-specific tally. All four of Eminem's collections have hit No. 1, and most have spent hundreds of frames on the chart. Only The Death of Slim Shady has yet to reach double-digit weeks. In fact, it hasn't even spent a full year on the list, though it seems like it will do so in the coming months. The longest-charting of the bunch is Curtain Call: The Hits , which recently passed 900 frames on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums ranking.

Eminem Fans Push Several Of His Biggest Albums Back To The Charts

Eminem's music floods the U.K. charts, as Curtain Call climbs and The Eminem Show and The Marshall ... More Mathers LP return to the hip-hop tally. Cox/Getty Images) Eminem sees three different albums return to charts in the United Kingdom this week. That's quite the performance from a hip-hop superstar who rarely needs to bounce back onto these lists. He is far and away one of the most successful rappers of all time across the globe, and his domination of the U.K. rankings is near-unparalleled. Following a busy frame, which was flush with Record Store Day offerings, multiple collections by the Grammy and Oscar winner find their way back — some, interestingly, to more than one tally. Eminem sees a pair of projects return to the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. Coming up first is The Marshall Mathers LP, which reappears at No. 34. Just a few spots beneath that title, The Eminem Show returns at No. 37. Curtain Call: The Hits is also back, but on a different list. While The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show are only present on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart, Curtain Call reenters the Official Album Downloads tally, landing at No. 96. Eminem's massively popular greatest hits set also appears on a trio of other tallies at the same time. Curtain Call maintains its placement at No. 23 on the Official Albums chart, the most competitive album ranking in the country. It dips a few slots on the Official Albums Streaming list, settling at No. 20, while rising five positions to No. 25 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums tally. In addition to this trio of charting efforts that reappear somewhere, Eminem also sees two other full-lengths appear on U.K. rankings this week. Curtain Call 2 dips on both the Official Albums chart and the Official Albums Streaming ranking. Meanwhile, his latest full-length, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), climbs on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart. On that tally alone, Eminem occupies four spots, thanks to two comebacks and a pair of rising winners. All four of Eminem's collections that currently appear on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart have hit No. 1 in the past, as have many of his other efforts. The Death of Slim Shady is the shortest-running winner of the bunch, with just 41 stays on the list so far — a number that's sure to grow as more time passes, since it's still relatively new – at least when compared to his earlier sets, which are still charting. The other Eminem efforts on the tally have spent more than a decade on the roster. The Eminem Show is now up to 661 weeks, while The Marshall Mathers LP has racked up 834 stays somewhere on the roster. Curtain Call stands as one of the greatest successes of all time, as it recently passed 900 appearances on this genre-specific ranking.

Eminem's Massive Album And One Of His Biggest Singles Both Return

Eminem's Curtain Call: The Hits and 'Lose Yourself' both return to on one Billboard chart apiece ... More this week. AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS - NOVEMBER 10: (EXCLUSIVE COVERAGE) Eminem poses in his dressing room with the 'Best Hip Hop' and 'Global Icon' awards during the MTV EMA's 2013 at the Ziggo Dome on November 10, 2013 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. (Photo by Davefor MTV) Eminem has been one of the most dominant names in hip-hop for decades, and his music continues to thrive across multiple Billboard charts. Even without a new release, fans keep streaming, buying, and revisiting his biggest hits, ensuring that he continues to find space on the rankings with regularity. This week, both a classic album and one of his most beloved songs return to the charts, though they reappear on different rankings, as fan activity keeps both alive. Eminem's Curtain Call: The Hits will seemingly never not be a Billboard winner. The singles-packed compilation is back on four charts this frame, rising on three and reentering one. The most notable movement comes on the Top Streaming Albums chart, where the set returns at No. 47. The list ranks the most-played full-lengths across the U.S. on sites like Spotify, and for a collection released nearly two decades ago to still be among the top 50 is impressive. At its peak, Curtain Call climbed as high as No. 18 on the tally — an achievement made even more remarkable by the fact that the ranking didn't exist when the album was first released. While its reappearance on the Top Streaming Albums list is noteworthy, Curtain Call is also gaining elsewhere. The compilation is creeping closer to the top 10 on the Top Rap Albums chart, moving up three spots to No. 12. It mirrors that exact rise on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, improving to No. 18 this frame. Meanwhile, on the Billboard 200 — the most important albums chart in the U.S. — Curtain Call manages a notable jump. The set leaps nearly 20 spots, ascending from No. 68 to No. 49. Eminem isn't just finding success with his albums this week. One of his most iconic songs is once again making noise as well. 'Lose Yourself' is back on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales ranking, which tracks the bestselling songs in those genres (as well as rap) genre each week. The cut returns at No. 13, reasserting itself as one of the top-selling rap tracks in the country. Despite its incredible longevity — it has thus far spent 460 weeks on this particular chart — the 8 Mile anthem has never hit No. 1. Instead, it has peaked at No. 2, narrowly missing out on the top spot.
