General Hospital Recap: Michael and Willow's Custody Hearing Begins originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's General Hospital recap: The Metro Court pool is open for business and Emma updates Kai and Trina about Gio being back in town. Josslyn joins them briefly, but Emma bad mouths her to Trina once she heads out, about the summer job. Sidwell introduces Jordan to Professor Dalton. Josslyn stops by to speak with them and Sidwell asks her to join them. Henry talks about his research. Josslyn gets a call and leaves as well as Sidwell, leaving Henry and Jordan alone to talk. Professor Perv ogles Emma when she gets into the pool. Dante says he owes Sonny an apology for their previous bad blood, but Sonny says they should move on. Sonny says Dante has a son who's hurting and needs to help him. Gloria is thrilled to see Gio, but he tells them that he's grabbing his things and leaving. Lois tells him Brook Lynn had nothing to do with any of it. Brook Lynn says she had no idea he was her son, and she gave him up because she was a teenager. Gio says if she had wanted him, she would have found a way. Lois agrees with Brook Lynn, saying she gave him up to give him a better life. Gloria says they found him a good home with Camilla, who loved him. Gio says Camilla lied to him even on her deathbed. Lois says they spoke to Camilla who agreed it would be too confusing for Gio to know the truth. Brook Lynn asks if the two of them pressured Camilla into keeping the secret, but Gloria disagrees. Lois says Camilla didn't want to die with Gio thinking she wasn't his mother. Brook Lynn says they should have told her about Gio after Camilla died, so she could have helped him. Brook Lynn says they left Gio without any parents and tells Lois and Gloria to get out. Brook Lynn wants Gio to stick around but he says the truth is none of them wanted him and walks out. Marco says he has experience in international banking law and worries she's gotten herself into trouble. He offers to help but Alexis says she's comfortable in her investment but appreciates his concerns. Everyone arrives at the courthouse for the divorce and custody hearing. Willow is worried but both Drew and Nina reassure her that it will all work out. Drew reminds Ric his job is to make Michael look bad. Diane tells Michael and Jason she won't be calling Jason to the stand because Ric will take the opportunity to use his connection to Sonny against Michael. Diane tells Jason not to be in the courtroom. Michael admits he feels badly for what he's going to do to Willow, but Jason says it's about the kids and keeping them away from Drew. Jason praises Michael for being a great father and says his kids need him. Jason heads over to Sonny's and tells him that the Quartermaines are furious with Lois and Sonny admits he is as well. Sonny says he stands by Lois' friendship but doesn't condone her actions. He says it broke his heart when he saw Gio destroy the violin. Lois stops by to tell Sonny she's heading back to Bensonhurst. She says she's worried about Gio because he has no one looking out for him, and Sonny promises to be there. Ric calls Alexis and tells her Diane added Kristina to her witness list and there's no telling what she'll say on the stand. Ric warns Alexis to get Kristina out of the courthouse. Diane's opening statement asks for full custody for Michael and brings up Willow's affair. Ric counters Willow is a devoted mother, and she also seeks full custody. Carly testifies about Willow and Drew's sexcapades in the playroom and leans in hard on how heartbreaking it's been for Michael. Carly testifies Michael did not authorize Willow taking the kids to DC. Chase testifies and Diane gets him to say Willow wasn't faithful to him during their marriage. Ric gets Chase to testify Willow cheated with Michael. Diane counters Willow is a cheating cheater who cheats. Alexis gets to the courthouse and drags Kristina away and takes her back to her office, but Marco tells them Diane called looking for her. Kristina says she'll just say the idea of testifying brings up bad memories of the last time when Ric tore into her. Alexis reminds Kristina to keep her pie hole shut at all times. Dante tells Diane that Kristina left, which upset her. She says Kristina was going to testify Willow kept the kids from talking to Michael while he was away. Michael has an idea for who can replace Kristina. On the stand, Ric gets Dante to talk about Michael going to prison for involuntary manslaughter. Diane has Dante explain the events of that night and how Michael was protecting his mother and sister. Tracy testifies that Michael is the lynchpin and the future of the Quartermaine family. She says Drew has always wanted what Michael has, including his wife. Ric asks about Tracy kidnapping the kids, but she says Willow is letting Drew ruin the Quartermaine family. Tracy is forced to admit she was charged with kidnapping. Josslyn shows up as the replacement for Kristina and Diane has her testify about all the things Willow did that was heinous.
