Makkah's Hajj Gifts Ritual Exhibition Attracts over 25,000 Visitors
The Hajj Gifts Ritual Exhibition, organized by the Makkah Chamber of Commerce, wrapped up yesterday after a successful five-day run. Featuring 120 pavilions, the event brought together contributions from government entities, private sector participants, and charitable organizations dedicated to serving pilgrims. In line with the Ministry of Culture's declaration of 2025 as the Year of Handicrafts, the exhibition also highlighted traditional arts and crafts. More than 25,000 visitors enjoyed an engaging experience with interactive exhibits, smart technologies, and a wide array of handmade creations. These included gem polishing, wood carving, ring and rosary crafting, and traditional attire, offering a vibrant showcase of cultural heritage. NCA Launches Interactive Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition for Hajj Pilgrims
The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has announced the launch of its Cybersecurity Awareness Exhibition for the 1446 Hajj season. Held at the Hajj and Umrah terminal complex at King Abdulaziz International Airport, the exhibition aims to promote a robust cybersecurity culture and educate pilgrims through engaging, interactive content. This initiative is part of the NCA's broader cybersecurity awareness program for the 1446 Hajj season, aligning with national efforts to provide exceptional services and ensure a secure pilgrimage experience. The exhibition specifically targets air travelers arriving for Hajj, offering a variety of educational materials, publications, and multilingual guidance. Moreover, topics covered include essential cybersecurity principles, the role of cybersecurity in addressing emerging threats, the importance of software updates, recognizing phishing and social engineering tactics, and best practices for application security. As the Kingdom's national authority for cybersecurity, the NCA is responsible for safeguarding vital interests, national security, and critical infrastructure. The Authority also leads efforts to enhance the cybersecurity posture of government services, develop regulatory frameworks, and raise awareness across all sectors.
