A Married At First Sight star has revealed the moment she was savagely mum-shamed at her son's sports day. Cyrell Paule, 36, who appeared on season six of the Aussie dating show in 2019, took to Instagram on Thursday to vent about a recent incident that saw her criticised by another mum for packing an unhealthy lunch for her son Boston, five. 'Today I was mummy shamed... at least that's how it felt,' she captioned the Instagram story. The reality star went on to share that she had been battling an illness 'all week' in the run up to her son's athletic carnival. When it came to the big day, the mum made the decision to pop by McDonalds to buy her son lunch as opposed to packing a healthy lunchbox. The Married At First Sight star took to Instagram on Thursday to vent about a recent incident that saw her criticised by another mum for packing an 'unhealthy' lunch for her son Boston (right) 'By the time it was lunch time, I thought, do you know what, there is a Maccas down the road.' The mum admitted that while it wasn't really a 'suitable' lunch for a sports day, she was feeling so sick that it felt like the best option. While Boston, whom she shares with her partner Eden Dally, didn't have the usual 'carrots or a cut-up cucumber', he had a warm meal. Cyrell then overheard a conversation between another kid and his mum, who threw shade at her takeaway meal. 'One kid close-by was saying like, 'ah yum I love nuggets, I had McDonald's the other day,' but the mum was like, "you aren't getting McDonald's today, you are at a sports carnival, you are not supposed to be eating that".' 'Dude, yes I admit it is a lazy lunch and I could probably have done better but you know what, I don't need you to tell me I am doing a s*** job,' she said in the clip. The mum-of-one then posted a snap of her son, along with the caption: 'Sooo to all the mums out there who feel like what your doing isn't enough, you do you.' 'Stop judging each others parenting, no one knows your child or your situation. Cyrell and her partner Eden welcomed Boston, their first child together, in February 2020. The couple met in March 2019 after Cyrell's 'marriage' to Nic Jovanovic on Married At First Sight ended when they decided they were better off as friends. Her illness even left her debating whether to bother to go and watch her son during his sports day at all after being left feeling so run down. As a result, she told how when she did manage to make it along to his school, she decided to buy him a McDonald's for his lunch after being unable to make him anything healthier. But she was soon bashed by another mum who shamed her for feeding her son fast-food during a sports day. On Instagram, Cyrell wrote: "Today I was mummu shamed... at least that's how it felt." She then spoke to the camera, in which she said: "By the time it was lunch time, I thought, do you know what, there is a Maccas [McDonald's] down the road. His father is Love Island Australia star Eden who she met at a party in March 2019. On MAFS, she was married to Nic Jovanović. After an explosive relationship, the pair called it quits before filming wrapped after a series of arguments. Things then got messy back in March 2019 when Cyrell said on Instagram that dating Nic was a 'huge' mistake. Commenting on Nic's height, the fan wrote: 'He looks huge', to which Cyrell replied: 'Yeah he is huge... a huge mistake.' She also accused her ex of flirting with MAFS co-star Jessika Power throughout filming, but he denied this. 4 4
