Inside Diddy's first Memorial Day behind bars as he swaps yacht parties for prison card games
Sean ' Diddy ' Combs will be spending Memorial Day very differently this year — swapping his celeb-studded soirees for a jailhouse schedule. The embattled hip-hop mogul, 55, is currently on trial for federal charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and coercion — and faces life in prison if convicted. On a typical long holiday weekend, the rapper would be throwing his own epic party in Miami or Vegas, preferably aboard a yacht, surrounded by famous friends and bottles of his vodka brand, Cîroc, flowing freely. But this Memorial Day, he'll wake up in 4 North — a dorm-style wing reserved for high-profile inmates, far from the general population — and be surprised by his meager options, per TMZ. Instead of champagne and chef-prepared meals, his holiday lunch menu includes BBQ chicken, mac and cheese and mixed vegetables, according to the outlet. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Dinner? Chicken and rice, pinto beans, canned corn and whole wheat bread. As for entertainment, TMZ reports Diddy can pass the time with 3-on-3 basketball, board games, cards, or dominoes — a far cry from the lavish life he once lived. The report comes after the jury in Diddy's trial got a disturbing glimpse into his former party lifestyle, with photos shown from the day his home was raided last March. Even though he was a multimillionaire living in one of the most exclusive areas of the country, he kept illegal drugs, AR-15 assault rifles, boxes of women's platform shoes and dozens of bottles of baby oil in his closet. Prosecutors have claimed that Diddy used baby oil for 'Freak Offs' with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, sexual performances with male escorts she was forced to take part in. Diddy denies sex trafficking and other charges and faces life in prison if found convicted. Jurors paid close attention as agent Gannon walked them through dozens of photos and physical exhibits taken from the Miami home. Gannon said that in total they found 13 pairs of high-heeled shoes: he held up a bag for the jury showing a red pair. On a typical long holiday weekend, the embattled rapper would be either hosting his own epic party or attending someone else's, preferably on a yacht with the Ciroc flowing. Seen with Cassie Ventura in 2009 On a typical long holiday weekend, the embattled rapper would be either hosting his own epic party or attending someone else's, preferably on a yacht with the Ciroc flowing. Seen here in 2013 In one drawer in a closet, investigators found 25 bottles of baby oil and 31 bottles of Astroglide, a lubricant prosecutors claim Diddy used in Freak Offs. A box of 'food grade' nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, was next to the drawer. Prosecutors asked Gannon if that was all the baby oil found in the house. 'It was not,' Gannon replied. The court was told that various bags of drugs were found inside a small personal Gucci bag which tested positive for cocaine, ketamine and MDMA, a pure form of ecstasy. There were also tablets that tested positive for MDMA which had a Tesla logo on them and a straw, and a $100 bill which tested positive for cocaine and ketamine. A bag of 10 brown capsules in the Gucci bag tested positive for psilocybin - the active ingredient in mushrooms. Among the other photos shown to the jury was one of Diddy's cluttered bathrooms showing the surfaces filled with bottles and items In another dramatic moment, Gannon cut open a plastic bag to reveal the barrel of one of two AR-15 assault rifles, which had been wrapped in a white towel and stashed in a closet. He then held up bags of ammunition and a box of Vital Honey — a luxury erectile dysfunction supplement containing tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis — for the jury to see. Jurors were also shown a photo of a small green suitcase that appeared to contain bags of marijuana, though Gannon did not confirm the contents. Another image revealed two dildos resting on a closet shelf, further exposing the chaotic scene inside Diddy's home.

Why Did Diddy Make Assistant Take Lie Detector Test — Administered by Ex-FBI Agent?
Sean "Diddy" Combs' criminal trial is in its second week David James, a former personal assistant to Combs, testified that taking the lie detector test was "very intimidating" James said he didn't feel like he could refuse the testsDavid James, a former personal assistant to Sean 'Diddy' Combs, took the witness stand Tuesday morning in the federal case against the hip-hop mogul. Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Slavik asked James about his employment with Combs, which went from May 2007 to 2009. James said he was originally hired as a 'personal liaison' and later became Combs' personal assistant. James testified that he was forced to take two lie detector tests during his time working for Combs. The first occurred in 2007, after Combs noticed cash went missing. 'It was very intimidating,' James said. He explained that he was strapped into a machine that monitored 'every movement,' with sensors attached to his chest and head. When asked if he could have refused, he replied, 'Not if I wanted to maintain my employment.' James said no discrepancies were found during that test. About six months later, he said he was required to take another polygraph after a Cartier watch was stolen. Want to keep up with the latest crime coverage? He again passed the test, but the former FBI agent administering the test told him he seemed nervous and asked if he had ever stolen from Combs. James testified that he had taken some Cîroc vodka and Sean John jeans. He also testified that the Director of Marketing at Sean Jean, Capricorn Clarke, also had to take a lie detector after she was robbed of Combs' "jewels." She was cleared, but Combs then allegedly replaced some of the stolen diamonds with fakes. Combs is being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He faces charges of racketeering and sex trafficking and could face life in prison if convicted. Read the original article on People

Liquor giant trades Diddy's vodka for Lebron James' tequila stake
Liquor company Diageo and rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs joined forces in 2007 to market his Cîroc Ultra-Premium Vodka and extended the partnership in 2014 by purchasing his tequila brand, DeLeón. However, the amicable relationship ended a few years later when in May 2023, Combs filed a lawsuit against Diageo for allegedly neglecting his two liquor brands, DeLeón and Cîroc. The rapper claimed the company treated his brands as inferior products, made racist remarks against him, and didn't make promised investments. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter Less than a year later, Diageo and Combs reached an agreement to end their business relationship in January 2024. As part of this agreement, the rapper would dismiss his lawsuit and withdraw all allegations made against the liquor company. However, Diagio remained the sole owner of DeLeón tequila and Cîroc vodka at the time. Related: King of Beers wants to become king of vodka teas Allegations of rape and abuse surfaced about Combs that same year, which tainted his image and reputation. This caused Diageo to receive continuous backlash and its sales to plummet due to the previous partnership. Image source:Diageo (DEO) announced it is forming a joint venture with the leading investment and advisory firm MainStreet Advisors to exchange its majority ownership of Cîroc Ultra-Premium Vodka's brand rights in the U.S. for majority ownership in Lobos 1707 worldwide, which is NBA star LeBron James' tequila brand. Both companies will oversee the Cîroc brand in North America and the Lobos 1707 brand worldwide, according to the announcement. However, Cîroc will not be included in Diageo's North American financial results. Instead, it will be reported under income from the joint venture and associates, but classification will remain unchanged in all other markets. Related: Major tequila company makes huge tariff announcement The companies claim this decision was made to maximize the value of Cîroc and Lobos 1707 brand rights worldwide. "Cîroc and Lobos 1707 have incredible potential, and through this collaboration, we are unlocking new opportunities to accelerate their reach, resonance, and revenue growth in ways that traditional models cannot achieve," said MainStreet Advisors CEO Paul Wachter. However, the business move comes after the settlement of the ongoing legal battle to end its partnership with Combs and the surfacing of his recent controversies. North America is Diageo's largest market, accounting for 40% of its net sales and around 50% of its operating profit. As for its liquor categories, vodka's market share in the region was 44% in 2024, and tequila's was 34%. Although the swap would mean that Diageo replaced a more consumed liquor with a slightly less popular one, Lobos 1707 has a better reputation than Cîroc due to LeBron James' celebrity presence in the American market. Since then, the tequila brand has grown in popularity among the younger generations, making it a lucrative investment due to its huge growth potential. This is why Diageo wanted to obtain the worldwide rights of this brand. Diageo and MainStreet Advisors appointed TikTok's Former Global Head of Marketing, Nick Tran, as the joint venture's President and Chief Marketing Officer. "Nick has a reputation for transforming brands into cultural icons and developing consumer and digital strategies focused on Gen Z audiences. Within the JV, Cîroc vodka and Lobos 1707 tequila will each maintain their distinct identities and consumer appeal and leaders," stated the announcement.
