Barnala boy secures All India Rank 7 in NEET UG, family eyes for AIIMS
Keshav Mittal, 17 from Tapa town, has secured the 7th rank in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG, scoring 680 marks out of a total of 720. This achievement was made in his first attempt. NEET UG result 2025 out live updates
Keshav, who studied at D.M. Public Senior Secondary School, Karar Wala, Bathinda district, undertook coaching at Allen Institute in Chandigarh. He maintained a study routine of 8 to 9 hours daily. His father, Dr. Prabodh Mittal, practices as a Homeopathic doctor in Tapa, while his mother is a homemaker.

Dr. Prabodh Mittal expressed satisfaction, stating, "It was expected that he would be under 100, but the kid did so much marvellous, that he got under 10 rank." He further mentioned Keshav's aim to pursue an MD (Doctor of Medicine) and his desire for him to be admitted to AIIMS (All India institute of Medical Science) Delhi, citing it as "one of the best institutes of the country."

Regarding his daily routine, Keshav's father noted that he ensured adequate sleep and limited smartphone use to approximately 30 minutes per day. He highlighted Keshav's ability to manage stress effectively. His mother Sunita Mittal while expressing happiness stated that Keshav also topped Bathinda district in his twelfth-grade examinations.
