CBI catches Mumbai junior engineer while taking Rs 4.5 lakh bribe to clear files
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Junior Engineer of Naval Officers Family Residential Area (NOFRA), Mumbai, for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 4.5 accused, identified as DC Pandey, was caught red-handed by the sleuths while accepting the bribe on the basis of a written to the complainant, the engineer had initially demanded Rs 5.5 lakh to clear the pending bills of his firm. However, after negotiations, the bribe amount was settled at Rs 4.5
