19th Edition of DIFC Art Nights Returns with Powerhouse Panels and Immersive Installations
Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is set to become a vibrant hub of creativity as the 19th edition of DIFC Art Nights takes over Gate Village from 10 to 13 April 2025 . Running daily from 5pm to 10pm, this four-day celebration promises an inspiring mix of art, culture, and conversation—all open to the public and free to attend. This year's edition opens with a strong focus on empowering women in art and culture. On 10 April, panel discussions curated by Art Connects Women will spotlight influential voices including Dr. Dena Assaf (UN Resident Coordinator for the UAE), Camelia Mohebi, Rene de Wit, and Dr. Eng Suaad Al Shamsi. Topics will range from financial literacy in the art world to the power of creativity in driving social change. On 11 April, Christie's and Dubai Culture will present insightful panels exploring the works of Piet Mondrian and the impact of public art on communities. Speakers include Arne Everwijn of Christie's and local cultural figures Reem Hamid, Fatma Al Khayat, and Dr. Ahmed Al Mulla. Beyond the talks, expect an eclectic mix of live performances, interactive installations, and AI-generated art, along with captivating displays from emerging and established artists across the UAE and beyond. Presented in collaboration with Dubai Culture , Christie's , Art Connects Women , and supported by Standard Chartered and Shanghai ME , DIFC Art Nights reflects the centre's deep-rooted commitment to the arts. As home to the UAE's largest public art collection, including the iconic DIFC Sculpture Park , DIFC continues to shape Dubai's cultural landscape. Roger de Tanios Lands in Beirut for the First Time as Part of His World Tour

With a career spanning 27 countries, de Tanios blends his Lebanese-French heritage with his background as an international legal advisor to create thought-provoking art exploring identity and cultural narratives. Best known for his 'Aychak Man' series, de Tanios reimagines the macho man archetype, exposing a struggle between tradition and modernity. Through bold paintings and sculptures, he challenges stereotypes and sparks dialogue on gender roles. De Tanios has exhibited in major art capitals, including New York, Paris, London, and Tokyo, earning 13 international awards. His 'Incomparable Art' retrospective will open on Tuesday March 25, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Rebirth Beirut in Gemmayzeh, running until March 31, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM (except Sunday). DIFC Art Nights Returns – Call for Artist Entries Closing Soon
DIFC Art Nights is soon to return and ignite the city's cultural scene. Artists are encouraged to participate and showcase their works through the open call for artists, which is closing on 26 March 2025. A key event in Dubai's art and culture calendar, DIFC Art Nights celebrates the city's creativity through a showcase of extraordinary art works across a range of mediums. The event reflects Dubai's diversity, welcoming both emerging and established and emerging artists from around the world. To participate, artists must submit a curated portfolio of their best works, including high-quality images and a brief description of each piece. Acceptable mediums include visual arts, painting, sculpture, photography, design, murals and mixed media. Musicians are also encouraged to apply, along with artists interested in hosting workshops or joining panel discussions. Taking place from 10 to 13 April 2025, the 19th edition of the biannual Art Nights will showcase the creativity and talent of local and international artists at the city's vibrant financial and cultural hub. Artists need to submit their portfolio by the deadline of 26 March 2025 to [email protected] . All submissions must comply with DIFC's guidelines, which can be downloaded here .
