Greenwood, 23, had a prolific debut season for the club following his £26.6million transfer last summer.
The forward netted an impressive 22 goals and six assists in just 36 appearances in all competitions.
But he is now keeping on top of his fitness back in Manchester.
Greenwood was pictured going through the motions and was joined by former United team-mate D'Mani Mellor.
Like Greenwood, Mellor, 24, came through the academy with the Red Devils.
However, he never made a Premier League appearance for the club but did appear in a Europa League match against Astana in 2019.

Meanwhile, after just one season in France, Greenwood — who had charges of attempted rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour dropped in February 2023 — is yearning for a return to the UK with partner Harriet Robson and their two young daughters.
Reports have claimed that the striker has interest from at least two unnamed Premier League clubs.
Serie A or LaLiga could also be the next destination should he leave Marseille, while the Saudi Pro League may be an option, too, if one of the leading clubs can create a space in the squad.
Greenwood spent the 2023-24 season on loan in Spain with Getafe, scoring ten goals in 36 games.
