DP World Sokhna Welcomes First Passenger Vessel of 2025
DP World Sokhna has marked a significant milestone by welcoming the MV Aroya, the first passenger vessel to dock at the port in 2025.
This visit underscores the port's expertise in managing cruise operations and reinforces its pivotal role as a gateway for both trade and tourism.
Operated by Cruise Saudi, the MV Aroya embarked on its journey with 1,600 passengers, traveling across the GCC region with stops in Jeddah, Sokhna, Sharm El Sheikh, and Aqaba. The port's advanced marine services ensured safe berthing, while a dedicated team oversaw immigration, customs clearance, and passenger disembarkation, ensuring a seamless experience for both passengers and cruise operators.
DP World Sokhna's integrated logistics capabilities also streamlined baggage handling and shore excursion coordination, allowing travelers to explore Egypt's cultural and historical landmarks with ease.
