Ballari gears up for progress review meet with CM
Ballari: Ballari is preparing for a state-level progress review meeting in Bengaluru on May 21 and 22, which will be chaired by the chief minister. During a meeting on Thursday, deputy commissioner Prashant Kumar Mishra assessed the progress of various emphasised the need for detailed updates on the advancement of multiple projects initiated in the district by different departments.

CM Siddaramaiah is set to meet with the DC and the ZP CEO, and all relevant information must be readily were instructed to gather thorough data regarding drinking water management in both urban and rural settings, which includes regular testing, chlorination oversight, and additional activities. Additionally, the district is required to compile agricultural statistics that encompass sowing areas, fertiliser distribution, available stocks, and farmer registrations for crop regarding the beneficiaries of the 'Ganga Kalyana' scheme and the progress of its implementation is also necessary. Prashant Kumar Mishra directed the DUDC officials to expedite the completion of the outstanding Indira Canteens in the district and to provide comprehensive details about the installation and upkeep of CCTV systems in the operational Indira Canteens at the taluk are expected to present progress reports on govt schemes such as Shakti, Anna Bhagya, Gruhalakshmi, Gruha Jyoti, and Yuvanidhi, along with insights into any challenges and delays encountered during implementation. The deputy commissioner also sought updates on the B-Khata campaign, tax collection efforts, resolution of Janata Darshan complaints, cases of SC/ST atrocities, utilisation of SCP-TSP scheme grants, and outstanding applications under the Forest Rights was made clear that all information must be accurately entered by officers in the designated format within a week, and the progress report should be submitted to the DC's office within the stipulated meeting included ADC Mohammed Zubair, deputy director of social welfare department Mallikarjun, agriculture department's joint director Somasunder, ZP project officer Vinod, DUDC project officer Raghavendra, and other district-level department officers.
