June 3 marks the third anniversary of the film 'Major', the powerful biographical drama based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the braveheart who was martyred during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film starred Adivi Sesh in the lead role along with Prakash Raj and Saiee Manjrekar. It received widespread acclaim for its emotional depth and respectful portrayal of the late army officer's life and sacrifice.
To commemorate the occasion, Adivi Sesh took to social media to share a heartfelt post. The carousel begins with a special '3-Year Celebration" poster of the film. In another image, he's seen standing solemnly in front of the iconic Taj Hotel in Mumbai — one of the key locations targeted during the 26/11 attacks.

As soon as he shared the post, the comment section was swamped with reactions from fans and admirers. An Instagram user wrote, 'What a movie. Perfect acting. Everything in the movie was. The nation owes to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. A big salute to Adivesh too." One of them shared, 'This was very emotional and awesome." A user commented, 'A majestic film that made me cry, never forgot this biopic and Sesh gaaru you were just marvellous at portraying Sandeep, sir."
The film covers his journey from childhood to his heroic actions during the siege at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
Talking about his other projects, Adivi Sesh will be next seen in the upcoming action drama film, Dacoit: A Love Story, along with Mrunal Thakur. Directed by Shaniel Deo, the film reportedly follows the story of a convict (played by Adivi Sesh) who seeks revenge on his ex-girlfriend (played by Mrunal Thakur) after she betrays him.
It also features Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in pivotal roles. It will be hitting the big screens on December 25.
Apart from this, he also has an action spy-thriller, G2, with Emraan Hashmi, Wamiqa Gabbi and Madhu Shalini in his kitty.
