in Bero block of Ranchi district to meet four siblings who became orphans last children lost their mother, Panchi Uren, to prolonged illness on May 8.
Their father, Ganesh Oraon, died the next day of suspected heart the incident as "tragic and disheartening", the minister said, "The family is very poor and it was my responsibility to ensure that the children are taken care of.
" "The state govt is ready to offer all necessary support to the kids. District officials have initiated the process to enrol the three elder girls in govt-run Kasturba Gandhi residential school. They will receive a monthly fiscal aid of Rs 4,000 from the Child Protection Commission. Another girl, who is aged around four years, will also be provided fiscal assistance gradually so that their extended family can take care of the child. The kids are undergoing counselling," she said after visiting the kids with a team of district administration officials so as to connect the children with welfare measures to ensure their safety and the Jharkhand high court judge and executive chairman of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority, Justice SN Prasad, asked the district legal services authority to send a team to the family and assure it of proper legal team led by DLSA secretary (in-charge) Abhishek Srivastva met the family and informed them about govt welfare schemes. Applications for benefits under Dada Dadi Vridhha Pension Yojna, the PM Awas Yoja, and others were received from the family.
