Greenfield man dies in wreck on U.S. 160
EVERTON, Mo. — A Dade County man from Greenfield died in a single-vehicle wreck on Saturday, May 31.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) report, the wreck occurred at 12:05 p.m. around three miles east of Everton on U.S. Highway 160.
A 56-year-old man driving westbound in a white 2007 Dodge truck when he suffered a medical emergency, ran off the road and struck a utility pole, the report says.
The man was pronounced deceased by Dade County Coroner Gary Banta at the scene of the crash. Next of kin have been notified.
He was wearing a seat belt, per the report.
This is MSHP Troop D's 48th traffic-related fatality in 2025.
