Daffin's stocked for Easter rush despite chocolate price surge
SHARON, Pa., (WKBN) — The price of chocolate is getting a little rich with the cost of coca beans going up, but Daffin's Chocolates says they're still stocked up on all of the Easter favorites despite the surge.

The company says this is its busiest time of year and they're paying twice as much per pound for cocoa beans. Back in October, Daffin's says they hiked prices by 10 percent, but they're trying to hold off on any increases through the busy Easter season.
A bad crop this year and high demand for Chocolate have caused prices to spike
'This is like the worst challenge right now. Chocolate is at an all-time high. It's double what we were paying before. The market is bad right now. It will probably be that way for the next year, so we're trying to get through it,' said Connie Leon, Daffin's Retail Manager.
The company is also preparing for its annual Easter egg hunt at Buhl Park on April 12. It starts at noon. No registration is required for the event but they're asking anyone who attends to be there early.
