Victoria Beckham's clash with 'vile' Nicola Peltz years before Brooklyn feud

Victoria and David Beckham have reportedly been concerned for their eldest son Brooklyn since his wedding day to wife Nicola Peltz back in 2022, years before their latest clash Nicola Peltz's recent falling out with the Beckhams is said to have been just the tip of the iceberg. The daughter of American billionaire Nelson Peltz has reportedly clashed with her in-laws multiple times before things came to blows last week. As the wife of David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn, it seemed she had been welcomed into the famous family with open arms. The Beckhams attended her film premiere last year, with Victoria even on crutches, and Posh and Becks have been vocal on social media about their support to their first daughter-in-law. ‌ Yet, tension appeared to be brewing under the surface amid reports of clashes during wedding planning for Nicola and Brooklyn. Things severely heated up, however, when the young couple made a very public snub for football icon David's 50th birthday celebrations. ‌ They did not attend a family gathering at the Beckham's Cotswolds estate, a trip to France on David's big day or his London bash. Brooklyn and Nicola have maintained they requested to meet his famous parents after they flew into London from Los Angeles. Their issue seemed to boil down to Romeo Beckham's new girlfriend Kim Turnbull. Conflicting reports claimed she had a short fling with Brooklyn, which has been debunked by youngest brother Cruz. Brooklyn and Nicola are said to not like Kim and did not want to be around her. However, eyebrows were raised among fans when David revealed he had also planned a fishing trip for his birthday to Scotland with just his sons. Brooklyn still did not attend, with David heading off with Romeo and Cruz instead. Kim, who started dating Romeo in November, appears to be getting a lot of the blame yet sources have claimed there was trouble in the family long before she rocked up on the scene. It has been claimed to stem back to Brooklyn and Nicola's lavish £3m wedding in Florida back in April 2022. Sources have claimed some found Nicola "absolutely foul" while planning the do and on the big day itself. ‌ "She was rude to Victoria, she shunned other members of the Beckham family and now it appears she wants to blame it all on Kim, which is just nasty," a source told Daily Mail."It is like they are trying to rewrite history." The source claimed many people were upset on Nicola and Brooklyn's wedding day, with it being labelled "difficult". However, they went on to say the feud within the family now is "devastating". ‌ They continued: "Some people felt that Nicola was vile. The Beckham gang just adore Brooklyn and wanted to be part of it all. "Now Nicola is singling Kim out and seems to be making it her fault but she only started dating Romeo last November. Relations have been strained since the wedding and there has been much concern for Brooklyn ever since." Sources close to Nicola have suggested that her in-laws have not been supportive of her career, and have been unwelcoming. Yet, friends close to the couple have said they have backed Nicola 'at every opportunity' and that there was 'no anger but just a deep sense of sorrow about how things have turned out.' ‌ The source added to the Mirror: 'They have gone above and beyond to help Nicola with her endeavours.' A friend of the Beckhams also said: 'Kim and Brooklyn did not date and she has nothing to do with any of this. In any case, why did Brooklyn not go to the Cotswolds party where Kim wasn't there…or the Scottish fishing trip with his dad and other brothers. It doesn't make sense.' However, a source revealed to the Mirror what Brooklyn and Nicola are really feeling. They told us: "Nicola encourages Brooklyn to see his family and is usually the reason Brooklyn does see his family. ‌ "They are both devastated. They cannot believe that Victoria and David refused to see them privately after they travelled all the way to London specifically to try to repair the relationship." They added: "As parents, it's shocking that Victoria and David are behaving this way... instead of privately discussing the issue. Victoria and David (appear to) have no interest in finding a solution that works for everyone." The Mirror has contacted Nicola and Victoria's representatives for comment.
