Lotto bosses issue urgent appeal as huge prize still waiting to be claimed

Lotto players have been told to dig through their old tickets as time is running out for a Daily Million Plus jackpot winner to claim their prize of €500,000. The top prize from the 2pm Daily Million draw on Friday, March 28, remains unclaimed and players in the Stillorgan area of south Dublin have been urged to double-check their tickets if they happened to purchase it in the lucky store, which was Tesco in Stillorgan Shopping Centre. The winning numbers from the 2pm Daily Million Plus draw on Friday, March 28, were: 17, 22, 23, 25, 30, 37 and the bonus was 32. Ticket holders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, which means the Dublin winner has until close of business on Thursday, June 26, to come forward – just four weeks to go. National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan has appealed to all Daily Million Plus players in Dublin to carefully check their old tickets from late March to ensure they do not miss out on claiming this substantial prize. 'We are hoping to hear from a Daily Million Plus player in Stillorgan who won €500,000 in the 2pm draw on Friday, 28th March," Ms Monaghan said in a statement. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Tesco in Stillorgan Shopping Centre. "Players have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, so the final deadline is Thursday, 26th June. We're encouraging everyone in the area to check their tickets from late March carefully, you could be holding a life-changing prize!' If you're holding the winning ticket, sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe. Contact the National Lottery prize claims team as soon as possible on 1800 666 222 or email claims@ Arrangements will be made for you to collect your prize at Lottery HQ. Should the Dail Million jackpot winner fail to claim their prize by June 26, the funds will be put into the promotion of the National Lottery — which in turn increases the funds raised for good causes. The National Lottery Good Causes Awards looks to honour and recognise 'the inspiring work and achievements of those who promote positive change around them.

No player snaps EuroDreams or Daily Million jackpot, but thousands win prizes

No Lotto punter managed to snap up the EuroDreams top prize or Daily Million, but thousands of players still grabbed prizes in Monday's Lotto draws. The Daily Million top prize, worth €1 million, went unclaimed but a number of players still grabbed prizes in the draw, including two players who won a modest €500 after matching five numbers. The winning numbers for the Daily Million main draw were: 7, 11, 13, 19, 20, 28 and the Bonus 2. There was also no winner of the Daily Million Plus top prize, worth €250,000, but again, players still grabbed some money in the draw. The winning numbers were: 8, 15, 16, 28, 33 and the bonus 35. Once again, there was no winner of the EuroDreams top prize, worth a life changing €20,000 a month, but over 18,000 players in Ireland still won prizes, albeit some small ones. Four players managed to win €129 after matching five numbers, while 198 players won €51 after matching four numbers. The winning numbers in the draw were: 8, 15, 26, 32, 35, 38 and the Dream Number, 2. Meanwhile, the search is on to find Ireland's latest Lotto winner after one lucky player bagged a huge five-figure prize in Saturday night's draw. In total, over 71,000 players won prizes in last night's Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, including one punter who bagged the Match 5 + Bonus prize worth a cool €45,473. The Lotto player came agonisingly close to scooping the €4.3m jackpot up for grabs in Saturday's Lotto draw, missing out on the huge cash windfall by just one correct number. However, the punter still has plenty of reason to celebrate after pocketing €45,473, with The National Lottery revealing that the winner is an online player from Co Dublin. The numbers for Saturday night's Lotto were: 8, 33, 34, 36, 40, 47 and the bonus was 45. Lotto bosses have confirmed that a notification and an email has been sent to the Dublin online player. The top prize winner is advised to make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@ and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize in Lottery Headquarters.

What would you buy with €500,000? That question will be on the mind of one very lucky Irish EuroMillions player who scored the amazing amount this week. The player bagged the huge amount by matching all five numbers in Tuesday's EuroMillions Plus draw. The winning numbers in the April 29 EuroMillions Plus draw were: 5, 25, 28, 35 and 49. Luck must be in the air in the Rebel County, as this is Cork's second top prize win this year in the EuroMillions Plus draw, with the €500,000 top prize from March 21 also won there. The winning ticket was sold at Dunnes Stores, Ballyvolane Shopping Centre, Cork City. The player bagged the huge amount by matching all five numbers in Tuesday's EuroMillions Plus draw. Pic: Artur Widak/NurPhoto/Shutterstock Lotto spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer said: 'What a night for Youghal as a player in the town has claimed a life-enhancing amount of money, winning the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000! 'This is the 14th EuroMillions Plus win so far in 2025. In total over 42,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.' Players in Cork are being urged to check their tickets carefully as the search for the winner is still ongoing. Pic: Getty Images It comes as luck was also in the air for Wicklow in recent days, as one Lotto player won a life-changing amount of money in the Daily Million draw. The draw took place on April 14 and the winner revealed that he only decided to buy an online ticket for the 2pm draw that day because he received an email notifying him of a remaining balance in his account. He explained: 'I won't lie, it's been a while since I've played any lottery game. I got an email from the Lottery team to say there was a balance remaining on my online account, so I decided to put it towards the upcoming Daily Million draw – obviously not thinking much of it.' He later received another email to notify him of his winnings, but didn't read it properly until later in the evening and called his partner once he'd realised he was now €1million richer. 'I didn't know what to do,' he shared. 'She laughed at me down the phone, telling me I was having her on. I had to log back into the account to see if it was still there – we really couldn't believe it… and to be honest, I'm still struggling to believe this is all real!' What makes the win even more impressive is the fact that he only played one line, worth €1, and still won the money which he hopes to use to pay off his mortgage and take his family on a sun holiday.

Lucky Lotto player plays one line for €1 and wins €1million

Luck was in Wicklow recently as one Lotto player won a life-changing amount of money in the Daily Million draw. The draw took place on April 14 and the winner revealed that he only decided to buy an online ticket for the 2pm draw that day because he received an email notifying him of a remaining balance in his account. Elsewhere in the country, there was also Lotto joy for a family syndicate of four from North Dublin who collected their winnings after their EuroMillions Plus ticket won them €500,000. They bought the ticket for the April 16 draw in Tesco in Artane Castle Shopping Centre, and when they realised they won, some members didn't believe that it had actually happened. One member of the syndicate said: 'We are frequent players, but this is absolutely the most amount of money we've ever won! When I heard the win was local, I had to check the ticket – lo and behold, there were our numbers, although I thought we had won €50,000, not €500,000!' Pic: Getty Images Their daughter added: 'When he rang me to share the news all I could say was 'Are you winding me up?', I thought he was calling to deliver bad news.' The syndicate were delighted to have a win come their way, and between them they're holding out to celebrate properly on a family holiday in the sunshine. And, a man from Co Meath collected his EuroMillions Match 5 winnings from the April 15 draw, saying how he usually plays his own numbers, and the first time he plays a QuickPick, he wins! Celebrations are in full swing for lucky Lotto winners in Dublin, Wicklow and Monaghan Pic: Getty He shared: 'I was away golfing for the weekend, and my ticket was sitting in the car at home. The family had told me they heard the win was in Monaghan, but I had no way of checking it until I got back days later. 'It was the first thing I did when arriving home, and sure enough, no one believed me when I told them the news – I'll admit that I've joked about winning one too many times!'

Lucky Lotto player 'struggling to believe this is all real' after €1m win

A Lotto player has revealed how an email from the National Lottery lead them to landing a €1 million jackpot win. The lucky punter bagged the life-changing seven-figure prize after striking it big on the Daily Million 2pm draw from April 14. The Wicklow man made the trip to Lotto HQ this week to collect his cheque, where he revealed how a prompt from the National Lottery led to him becoming a millionaire. 'I won't lie, it's been a while since I've played any lottery game," he said. "I got an email from the Lottery team to say there was a balance remaining on my online account, so I decided to put it towards the upcoming Daily Million draw – obviously not thinking much of it." On receiving his winning notification after the 2pm draw, the man initially skimmed by the email, not reading it properly until later that evening. 'I rang my partner immediately, I didn't know what to do!" he recalled. "She laughed at me down the phone, telling me I was having her on. I had to log back into the account to see if it was still there – we really couldn't believe it... and to be honest, I'm still struggling to believe this is all real!' The Daily Million players' one line, worth €1, has now changed his life with a €1 million win, with the Wicklow native planning to use his winnings to clear his mortgage and treat his family to a trip in the sun in the coming months. Meanwhile, a family syndicate of four from North Dublin retrieved their winning EuroMillions Plus ticket from a safe space in their attic to collect a cheque worth €500,000. The syndicate had purchased the winning ticket for the EuroMillions draw on April 16 at Tesco in Artane Castle Shopping Centre on Kilmore Road, Dublin 5. A member of the syndicate revealed how they initially thought the group had bagged a €50,000 prize, before they realised the true extent of their win. "We are frequent players, but this is absolutely the most amount of money we've ever won! When I heard the win was local, I had to check the ticket – lo and behold, there were our numbers, although I thought we had won €50,000, not €500,000!' the syndicate member said. Their daughter chimed in: 'When he rang me to share the news all I could say was 'Are you winding me up?', I thought he was calling to deliver bad news.' Finally, a Meath player made the journey to Lotto HQ to claim the EuroMillions Match 5 prize of €127,814 which he won in the draw on April 15 after purchasing the winning Quick Pick ticket from Mace, Drummond Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. Speaking on the win, the man revealed how a last minute change led to him landing the huge cash windfall. 'This is a funny one because I've been playing my own numbers in the EuroMillions for years, and this is the only time I've bought a Quick Pick – and now look!' he revealed. 'I was away golfing for the weekend, and my ticket was sitting in the car at home. The family had told me they heard the win was in Monaghan, but I had no way of checking it until I got back days later. "It was the first thing I did when arriving home, and sure enough, no one believed me when I told them the news – I'll admit that I've joked about winning one too many times!' The Meath Lotto winner has officially decided that he's now going to start alternating playing his own numbers as well as Quick Pick. Although his initial response to what he's now going to do with the prize was 'I haven't a clue', he quickly came around to deciding on a family holiday. Meanwhile, Wednesday night's EuroMillions jackpot is set to roll to an estimated €85 million. Players dreaming of becoming Ireland's newest EuroMillions jackpot winner are reminded that tickets for tomorrow night's draw can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or at ahead of the 7.30pm cut off.
