Man wanted for reported shoplifting in McDowell County
MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A person is wanted for reportedly shoplifting in McDowell County.
According to a post on the McDowell County Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, there are active arrest warrants for 18-year-old Dakota Nathaniel Steele for allegedly shoplifting from Newberry's Food and Fuel.
Multiple people sentenced or plead guilty in Mercer County
The Facebook post from the McDowell County Sheriff's Office stated that Steele reportedly lives in the Brenton area of Wyoming County and can solve the issue by going to a law enforcement agency in West Virginia and turning himself in.
According to the post from the McDowell County Sheriff's Office, anyone with information about Steele's location are advised to call McDowell County Emergency Communications at 304-436-4106, or call their local law enforcement agency. They also reminded the public that all people are thought to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
