Guests evacuated as firefighters tackle hotel blaze in Essex
Guests at a hotel in Essex have been taken to alternative accommodation after the building had to be evacuated during a from Essex County Fire & Rescue Service were called to reports of a blaze at the building, in Epping Road, North Weald Bassett, at about 21:05 GMT on fire, which affected 25% of the hotel, was extinguished by 01:30 on Saturday by 11 fire crews and the service's Urban Search And Rescue and Technical Rescue manager Dan Partridge said: "We are grateful that the building was evacuated so efficiently, and no-one suffered any injuries."
