Special Silver Screen show for workers
The Indian Community Welfare Association–ICRF Bahrain will be extending a special Silver Screen experience for approximately 250 workers from various sectors, on the occasion of International Labour Day 2025. The event is being supported by the Ministry of Interior and organized in association with Lulu Cares, Epix Cinema, Dana Mall and The Domain Hotel. This initiative not only aims to provide entertainment but to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of these hardworking individuals. The Silver Screen show will be held on Thursday, 1 May 2025 starting at 9.00am at the Epix Cinemas located in Dana Mall. Entry is limited and restricted to labourers / househelps. India in Bahrain Festival: A Resounding Celebration of Cultural Diversity
TDT | Manama The Embassy of India, Bahrain, in association with Lulu Hypermarket Bahrain and Dana Mall, organised the 2nd edition of the 'India in Bahrain Festival' to celebrate the vibrant and diverse cultural heritage of India on 21 February 2025 at Dana Mall, Sanabis. The event, inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, Ambassador of India to Bahrain, attracted over 2,000 members of the Indian community and friends of India in Bahrain. The festival held as part of the Promotion of Cultural Ties with Diaspora (PCTD), an initiative of Ministry of External Affairs, India served as a grand platform for sharing and promoting India's rich cultural traditions. The cultural extravaganza featured performances by members of 17 Indian community associations, showcasing an array of classical and folk performances from various regions of India. Collection of stalls A highlight of the festival was the vibrant collection of stalls, showcasing India's rich culinary delights and exquisite handicrafts. Over 20 Indian community associations participated, offering authentic Indian delicacies and handcrafted goods, providing visitors with a taste of India's artistry and flavors. The Embassy also set up a special counter for consular services, offering information and assistance to the attendees. A painting exhibition, 'India Through My Eyes,' was also part of the event. Over 20 talented artists came together to display 42 paintings that captured their unique perspectives on India's cultural, historical, and natural beauty.
