Ten arrested in Las Vegas for child sexual abuse charges
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Ten alleged sex predators are facing charges after being arrested earlier this week.
Several agencies, including federal and local law enforcement, made the arrests on April 28 and 29, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan police news release.
Those arrested were Daniel Hennigh, 22; Vaughn Catillon, 51; Shawn Crawford, 51; AndrewMosely, 23; Deepen Kothari, 42; Oliver Cruz Tejeda, 30; Kevin Rodriguez-Umana, 30, DavidJones, 32; Levi Smith III, 39; and Alistair Cooper, 28.
They all face charges varying from Luring a Child with Computer for Sex Act, Prepare/Advertise/Distribute Child Sexual Abuse Material, andAttempted Sexual Assault of a Child Less than 14.
Police said parents should talk with their children about the dangers of engaging with strangers online.
