Daniel O'Donnell hits out at cruel scammers after announcing break from touring
Daniel O'Donnell's management team have issued a warning to fans after a number of fake social media pages and bogus news stories began circulating online, falsely claiming updates about his and other family members' health.
The Donegal singer took to his official Facebook page to set the record straight, urging followers to ignore the misleading content and only trust updates posted by his team.
'Can I please ask you not to engage with any of these fake pages. They are all lies, photos that have been altered. All to get people to click into them. The only pages you ever need to read official news from is this page. Trish.'
The message comes just days after Daniel announced he will be stepping back from touring at the end of 2025 to focus on his health.

Fans can still catch Daniel live until December 2025, and he will appear on TG4's Opry le Daniel early next year, as well as on Gertrude Byrne's Mediterranean Cruise in September 2026 – his only confirmed performances for that year.
The singer's heartfelt message and his warning to fans reflect his ongoing commitment to keeping his supporters informed, while also protecting them from misinformation during a personal and challenging time.
