NASCAR driver visits Upstate children's hospital
GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – NASCAR Cup Series driver Chase Briscoe visited the Shriners Children's Hospital in Greenville.
The 2024 Cook Out Southern 500 winner took part in activities with the children including a NASCAR show and tell, autograph session and photo opportunities.
The children also received Darlington Raceway-themed gifts.
'I have a three-and-a-half-year-old and five-month-old twins so kids are a very special part of my life,' Briscoe said. 'Even before I had kids myself, I always also enjoyed being around kids. It's just the joy they bring me. Kids are so innocent, so full of fun all the time.'
The Goodyear 400 held at the Darlington Raceway is on Sunday, April 6.
