The Golden State Warriors have to feel pretty good about where they are as a franchise. The Warriors are breezing through their first-round matchup against the two-seeded Houston Rockets. They are poised to potentially compete for a title. However, things could always be better. In fact, taking their sweet time with making the move to acquire Jimmy Butler left the Warriors in an uncomfortable position for a large chunk of the 2024-25 NBA season. It will be worth monitoring if the team's front office believes it a worthwhile venture to try and poach one of the major talents on the Celtics roster.
